Nearly all gogo bars and sex clubs in Thailand are smoker friendly. So it's difficult to find a non-smoking venue.

But on weekdays (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) there are not so many people in many thai clubs, so it is very possible to bear the cigarette of some smokers.

In California, however, all strip clubs are non-smoking and many offer lap dances. So my suggestion would be to go to California. But of course in California dances cost more than in Thailand...

Maybe things have changed, but the last time I tried strip clubs in San Francisco, a few years ago, they were non-contact and expensive. But prior to that, perhaps 20 years ago, they allowed contact and were cheap. Yes, in both cases they were non-smoking.

The combination of low-cost, contact, safe, and non-smoking seems hard to find!

True, but unfortunately I react to cigarette smoke, even in small amounts. And unlike in the Montreal area (a favorite travel destination!), some clubs are located in dangerous areas, that are even more dangerous for a foreigner.

For me, contact dances are fun, but not worth a prolonged coughing fit or an armed shakedown. That's why I appealed to this board for winter travel suggestions.
