Is it me or does it seem there are thousands of different people doing porn these days?
That's why it's nearly impossible for me to pick a 'favorite porn star'. One day it might be someone who catches my eye....but i get bored after seeing her in dozens and dozens of loops. I prefer the earlier ones when they make their first 'casting' in the world of porn. And then they don't do it for me anymore as they get tainted by the business. I'm more into certain porn companies. I really used to like gonzo type of porn when it first came out. I loved Seymore Butt's movies. I loved when he performed and later with Taylor Hayes. I also really used to like BRCC. Loved the first loop i saw with a girl named "Libby" which led to a college campus scandal back then. Later i saw a few loops from Exploited College Girls. I enjoyed what i saw but as time went on it was repetitive and the girls began to look more like professionals than amateurs. And then i discovered GDP but as usual every loop and girl begins to look the same and i got bored.
My favorite porn stars are the older ones. The ones that were there when porn became mainstream where several are now deceased. I'm talking about the likes of Seka, Annette Haven, Ginger Lynn, Amber Lynn, Raquel Darrian, Serena and Nancy Suiter, among others. John Holmes, Jamie Gillis, John Leslie, Eric Edwards, Tom Byron and Marc Wallace, among others. Those were the days....and they blazed the trail for the next generations of porn stars.
If there is one porn star i have to name whom i consider my current favorite porn star and whose career i've followed for over a decade or two it's Rocco Siffredi. I've always loved the raw sexuality in his movies and the majority of the time they european talent he recruited was top-notch. Rocco constantly entertains and rarely fails. He's a beast and the women he shoots with are usually hot and sexual animals like he is. I love the intensity and no-bullshit in his shoots. The total opposite of those boring XXX movies they used to show on the dish until a few years ago. Rocco is the king and i can't see anyone ever dethroning him.

The internet made the entry barrier so low that there are now lots of people and it is much harder to break out as a star in the same way as the old days. You don't have as many movie stars either. Lots more actors, some big names, but not as many "movie stars".
