ssj124; I would throw Prime Time in the mix as well.[/QUOTE said:
I agreed with you, I remembered one time he is finished a baseball game then took a helicopter to go join the Cowboys. He is special, he made the All stars in both Sports. We won't see a two sports superstar like that for a while.

One name always seems to find its way across my lips is Mary Lou Retton, she was amazing in the Olympics back in the day.

For me Michael Phelps....

I hate when people say Michael Phelps is the greatest athlete. Now don't get me wrong, he's one of the greatest swimmers ever. Even in swimming, some still consider Mark Spitz as the greatest. You see swimming has the privilege of having so many events. All the previous medal record holder in the Olympics were swimmers, too many events. As far as swimming is concerned, Michael Phelps dominated the Butterfly & IM events. He wasn't even that fastest swimmer there which is reserved for the freestyle. 10 of his 23 golds are also 4x relays. Mark Spitz set 7 WR's and was the fastest swimmer.

As far as olympic athletes, Usain Bolt is the greatest modern athlete. No one comes close, even Phelps with his 23 golds.

It has to be the fastest man on earth The Bolt.
BTW the second fastest man on earth was this Jordanian man who got stung by a scorpion on his balls. Ran to the hospital in under a minute.

I must give credit to my uncle too who won medals in both the summer and winter Olympics. True story .

Three years later my top 4 remain the same...but I'll add #5 : Rafael Nadal.

The latest list therefore has 2 great boxers, 2 incredible tennis players, and up at the top a hockey player who just happened to be the greatest athlete who ever lived.

For 3 years my list stayed the same but I just added Rafa as #5. Now, a mere 2 weeks later, I'm forced (forced, I say!) to make a slight modification to the order...'cause Roger Federer is just so damned good!

The revised official rankings of the Top 5 G.O.A.T.:

1. Gordie Howe (can't see this one ever changing)
2. Roger Federer
3. Archie Moore
4. Sugar Ray Robinson
5. Rafael Nadal

I mean it.....nobody comes close to Rocco Siffredi. Pure athletism and longetivity. A machine. Never say never with Rocco Siffredi. Not only the king, but the greatest athlete of all time! :thumb:

Its so hard to say, cause the game has changed so much. Guys like Gordie Howe or Maurice Richard or Guy Lafleur wouldn't perform like they did in today's hockey. On one side its pretty impressive a guy like Alexander Ovechkin still manage to score 45/50 goals per year in this day and age. But then he never won a cup so it kinda taint his "legacy" in a way, even if Hockey is a team sport.

Then you have some domains i do not follow much but get there own "Goat" like Ussain Bolt in the running thing. I have no interest in this personally, but from what i heard he dominate just about everybody.

In combat sports, most of the greatest eventually loose one, and you can always say some had easier competition than others.

But yes its still impressive guys like Federer despite there age are still in the top players.

I would really have trouble naming one GOAT athlete of all time.

Hell even in porn, since you guy mention it, i wouldn't know who to name "King". Peter North's cumshot is legendary and has made some of the best one man COF ever, but otherwise his scenes where never that special and the way he had to have his face filmed before every cumshots is as much as legendary as the cumshot itself. So much that some peoples actually edited his videos to remove that part... lol

Jules Jordan has always been a favourite of mine too, he did good as an actor but really shine a lot as a director in his hey day.

In any case one thing for sure, i am sick and tired of Keiran Lee... The guy is EVERYWHERE and altough i will recognize he is not a bad performer and pretty good of an actor for porn standard, it just annoys me that he is in EVERYTHING. I wish brazzers would diversify there castings of male actors.

LOL, where did that come from Mikey? Ron Jeremy is the best is of all time! I think Brazzers's office is in downtown Montreal. You should go and file a big complaint next time you are in town doing a threesome at incall downtown:)

ESPN posted its list of the 50 greatest black athletes of all time and Michael Jordan came out on top:

http://theundefeated.com/features/50-greatest-black-athletes/?addata=espn:frontpage#michael-jordan

Sugar Ray Robinson only at #39???????!!!!!!!!!! Insane!

Archie Moore not even ON the list????????!!!!!!!!!Mind-bogglingly insane!

Just two indications that this list is absolutely ludicrous! It's a collection of good athletes, yes, but a politically correct list putting in popular names and giving preference to athletes for their social impact rather than their purely athletic achievements - for example Ali, Jackie Robinson, Wilma Rudolph.

At least they ignored popularity when they put Jim Brown at #30. He obviously belongs on the list and he is sure as Hell not there for political correctness or personal popularity, so at least they got one thing right.

Jackie Robinson was a great player but #2 all-time in all sports? Ha ha ha! For social impact, yes, but for baseball heroics, a resounding no!

Ali: A great fighter....but nowhere even close to the level of Archie Moore or Sugar Ray Robinson!
