Let me be honest that unless you post a link, the posts do not mean anything to me, because I am very visual when it comes to shoes. I have many shoes, for boat shoes I have 2 pair of Sperry's, for loafers and sandals Timberland's/LL Bean, and for dress shoes I like Florsheim and LL Bean. I also have a pair of Florsheim boots.
My sandals I can't find the link to, if I do I will post, $50, Timberland's, wear them to the beach and pool, they will last forever while many will throw away $10 cheapo pairs made in China, I know because I bought one of those cheapo pairs for $10 at Payless. You get what you pay for.
Definitely one of the very best in the world when it comes to mens shoes, at least in the top 3. Its a small shop based in Vienna, all bespoke. He has in incredible list of clients; European Kings, Hollywood celebs, Putin, etc. The workmanship is amazing. I;ve seen a presentation of his shop and I was really impressed.
Nothing but Alden - best American made shoe and a nice mid price point. Actually not that expensive if you get them re-soled/re-built.
If you have Muffin buffers money then go for some Lobbs, Edward Green, G&G, or Saint Crispin. www.leathersoul.com
