Why is Leolist Knowingly Scamming Us?

It blows my mind... I've never seen anything like that in any other country... Though fake/fraudulent ads may appear on any platform, it's pretty much unheard of that website admins/moderators would intentionally support and encourage scammers. The opposite is true - any website advertising escorts would ban scammers immediately... well, not Leolist.

What is so special about Leolist? They actually use their own verification system, meant to filter out fake ads, to scam users!!! WTF???

All these "verified" ads are posted on the same day. How can one SP do incalls and outcalls in 4 different provinces at the same time? Any attentive user can notice this as a matter of seconds - obviously Leolist mods and admins can do the same, but they choose not to... There are tons of "verified" fraudulent Leolist ads posted every day. Leolist should be actually renamed "Scamlist". Why are they doing it to us? Why do legitimate SPs keep dealing with this Leolist scum? Why are we still using Leolist on this forum? Is there any necessity to do so? Why aren't any Leolist references banned here? Why don't we boycott scammers?

Leolist, thank you for verifying scammers, and FUCK YOU!!!

"Verified Ad, pictures has been confirmed as real by LeoList!"

"A sucker is born every minute"
- P.T. Barnum (or not)

This explain that.

Frustration entirely justified, nevertheless.
Though you may be correct from the philosophical standpoint, no escort website would even allow multiple identities by the same user (except agencies), forget about "verifying" them as "real". Do you realize that Leolist mods INTENTIONALLY verify scammers to DEFRAUD us? There is nothing normal about it...

Because of Bill C-36. It made the perfect conditions for the escorts to scam the clients because there are no consequences. They know the clients cannot do anything. According to the feminist sexist laws, all SWs are victims and all clients are predators and are treated as such. I noticed a big spike of scams when Bill C-36 was passed. It is better to make it illegal totally for both parties then this.

This may be true, but why do Leolist mods/admins intentionally encourage scammers? This has nothing to do with Bill C-36. Leolist is a scam website in itself - this is my point. All "verified" ads are reviewed manually: it means Leolist mods/admins are directly involved in fraudulent activities, and actually facilitate fraud.

It is not just Leolist. All the like websites are full of scams. EscorteIntime is no better.

the more i see scams going on the more i feel like pulling out of this hobby. it used to be so much fun. now it just feels stressful at times looking for anything. Sure the indy's here are reputable. But you can't always find things in your budget range.

We are not talking about scam/fake ads in general. Obviously scammer may post their ads just like anyone else. But there is a major difference between scam ads being present on a website, and mods/admins intentionally "verifying" scam ads instead of removing them and banning scammers.

i don't think the mods sit and go through each ad. maybe they have software trying to weed out the bad ones. It's not foolproof. Scammers will always find a work around.
I tend to think it's an automated process that is not foolproof.

Unfortunately the platform will continue to exist as long as there are real profiles. I would say for it to die/disappear would be that there are no more real profiles and only bots/scammers so people will stop going there. But I'm dreaming in daylight here ...
