WI-FI in Montreal

I only use free Wi-Fi connections when on the net. in I'm realizing that there's less and less free connections. And most router a secured now.

A member told me of a local community that has wi-fi. They have a site with a map of the location of the free connections. He didn't remember the name.

Anyone knows who they are?
That's for the Montreal and Quebec city area.
