WIN10 hidden directory

Not being to tekkie, how do I create a hidden directory in WINDOWS10 to store pictures I want to keep hidden from maybe prying eyes? I have an app on my iphone that does this; there must be a way to do it on my PC?

Also more generally, for all mainstream photos, what's the best way to keep these in searchable categories?

I use truecrypt to make virtual directory that needs to be open with a password.

Even better, jal, and I believe the best is to not have anything on your iPad, computer etc... just upload to a cloud service. They are all user/ password protected and you r the only one that knows about it. It excellent for obfuscating data.
