Woman dies after 11-storey fall from Montreal Holiday Inn

Hi all.

There are no problems discussing the NEWS. One can go and extrapolate, like anybody would do about any news.

However, I want to make it very clear: there are NO OFFICIAL INDICATIONS this woman was an SP and, while speculations are possible and she could have been an SP, she could have simply been a resident that was a victim of a stupid accident. Anybody directly implying she was an sp, without being able to prove it, will have to wait till 2011 to be back on MERB.

It's a relatively fine line between extrapolating and implying and that speculation has already been made. Since I doubt the police make a habit of releasing too many specifics if they suspect foul play the details may not be made public for some time.

It's news to us because, thankfully this kind of tragedy is still infrequent.
