Would You Lead A Friend Into The Hobby If He Was Already In A Relationship

You basically have a friend who is in a relationship with way more to lose than gain by you leading him into hobby.

The way I look at it is that if he truely wants to get into the hobby then he will find a way to do it whether I lead him in the right direction or not.

Sometimes it is easier to do things when someone is there to encourage you. But in his case because he is in a relationship with alot to lose I am not willing to encourage him.

Basically I will not lead a horse to water but if the horse happens to find his way there, then I will help him drink.

Just wondering what everyone else thinks about this situation and if they have ever been in the same situation.

I think most guys would kill to have a great real relationship with one great lady unless your addicted to sex with someone new all the time. I know some legendary hobbyists who totally ignored escorts when they found that special woman. But if a guy is still interested in doing the escort thing when he already has someone special then he's probably not the one woman type anyway.

If he really wants to get into the hobby and is asking for advice I would help him. It's best to show him how to get good dates with reputable people and avoid trouble. Smart and well-controlled hobbying can even save relationships in many cases.
