All of a sudden , there are a whole bunch of new Indies advertising on Merb. Some of them are absolutely gorgeous too.
I guess many are fleeing the shit sites like BP.

I was just going to post it cloudsurf you beat me to.Really what the hell is happening?.Few of them are not Indies like Aryana Mila Sanders Emma sharp they have an agent is called Pascall and they work for him.but the way he manages the calls is like they are independent and is very misleading .why all of a sudden so many indies don't get it

Hey Jalimon, you are a relative newby on merb.
In 15 years on Merb I`ve never seen as many new advertisers as in these past 2 months.

I know Cloud but with backpage down it's just my guess that many sp are looking at different sites to advertise. And the wise one (and best one I hope) choose here.

Are they paid advertisers? Because if not the wrath of the paid advertisers and MERB Mods shall smote them down.

If they are paid advertisers, I would say Mark Service or Fred Zed II is quietly fist pumping over SESTA and FOSTA like Pat Reed when he birdied 18 to win the Masters.

Obviously with Backpage closed they are giving merb a shot. I think the reason why not more indies use merb is because its rather pricy compare to BP and the "pool of players" is much smaller. Its like everybody knew backpage, it was one of the first place the casual hobbyist would go. On the other hand the "annonce" websites and humpchies does not seem to have the reputation BP had.. so they don't want to advertise there.

Oh it's not that pricey, not compared to BP at least

BP was 7$ an ad

MERB is 113$ a month

7x30 = 210

Say you work 15 days in the month, 7x15 = 105... 105 for half a month, and one ad a day on BP wasn't nearly enough most of the times, so double that, or triple it, some girls put up to 5 or even 10 ads a day ! MERB is peanuts compared to the amount of money BP required, but ROI was so much better on BP (most local clients don't even know about Merb, let alone out of towners)

Depends on the person, i was following a bit the posting and some girls only put an add every 3-4 days, if you would search there names the ads would show up. Obviously if you want to stay on page 1 or 2 you need to post a lot. But it was more like 1 ads as they start there tour in some place and thats it. The whole "a la piece" could be interesting for some i supose. But yes if you put 2 ads a day then yes it got more pricy than merb...

With many sites closing down the market is consolidating and taking the route of least resistance. Many SPs that use to advertise on Craigslist are no longer there because the ads are no longer free. SPs are moving around trying out to see where their best advertising value is.
