XO - Rates going up?

I have read this thread now since it has started and my input is i believe i am already paying the higher rates without being charged for them. Let me explain, i tip approximately 98% of the time, 10$ for 60 and 90 minute sessions and 20$ for 120 minutes or more. If the service isn't there then the 2% comes into play. I also buy goodies for the girls, flowers, chocolates and of course the cost of a bottle of wine, also if i see a lady more then twice then she gets a gift, usually Victoria secret or maybe something she mentioned during our time together. So I believe i am up there already, i may have to cut back on one or two things, but i just dont see that happening, i am not that kind of person.

never been asked for anything up front in MTL. Never found it to be etiquette in Quebec.

I've never had anyone asking for their change back but honestly I wouldn't mind nor been offended. You work hard for your money and if you're told it's gonna be X amount why give more if you don't really want to

I met a girl last year who after she counted the money was upset because there was no tip. She said that she always got a $10 tip. She was fairly new and I explained that a tip wasn't always guaranteed. She "threatened" to call her agency. I laughed and gave her the $10, suggesting that she clarify the tip rules with her agency. A tip is important for workers like servers in the USA that are paid a low wage and count on the tip as the majority of their compensation. I tip these people well, especially when you go to a breakfast place and girls are running all over the place for 12$ check. But the SPs are making about 200$/hour. Anyone on this board make 200$/hour? This is a pretty good wage and the girls are on pace to make $400,000/year tax free. Anyone on this board make $400,000 after taxes on this board? The careers of SPs are relatively short but I don't feel like I'm taking advantage of anyone after paying those rates. I don't tip my Doctor/surgeons, attorneys, plumbers, mechanics etc. I do tip well of the people that count on tips like bellmen, servers

I remember I made an appointment back in the day with a girl I found in a classified add in a mid-western US city. She was hot. I was blown away when I opened the door. She walks in and said Business before pleasure... and she collected her fee. The next thing to come out of her mouth was I make my money on tips so... As a stupid fuck, I gave her a tip before the session. Now a days I wouldn't of called an escort from a classified add or BP or Leolist etc. But had I run into this girl today and she said this I would of told her tips are customarily paid after the service. You are tipped as a reward for exceptional service. If you don't like it you can leave.

I probably wouldn't ask for change either for 10$ but I would also say it is not rude to ask for change. You're paying enough as it is. There is an Indy in TO that I want to see. She charges 385$/hour. According to this thread, if I pay her her exact fee I'm a cheap skate because I would have to give her a 5$/bill. And if I gave her $400 and ask for change I'm rude. What would happen if the fee is 230$ and I said "Oh shoot I only have 220$" by some oversight. Would the girl say Oh that's OK? No they wouldn't.

I don’t. think anybody said giving the exact amount is cheap whether that involves a $5 bill or $10.

I do believe however asking for $5 or $10 back in change is both rude and cheap she is not a cashier at a supermarket .If you cannot afford an extra $5 or $10 depending on what her rate is, because you were too dumb or lazy to break a twenty before going to see her then that’s on you.

I only see Indys and it is usually repeat visits mostly with my ATF, where wine, pastries, a small gift sometimes some specialty Items that she may like.
It is not after the visit as I know for a fact that I will have a fabulous time.
I guess it is really up to each person what they want to do, I actually enjoy finding out what they would like and being able to make them feel as appreciated.
I don’t mind in the least spending a bit more, Some of these girls are drop dead gorgeous and go out of their way to please me .

Sure beats the other people that screw me, my garage mechanic, my financial advisor, lawyer, dentist etc.. who take more and barely grunt at me or say thanks.

Agreed. It's also pathetic to complain about rate increases. Vote with your wallet if the rate is too high; no one is forced to book with XO or see an escort for that matter.

So basically, you let her win. Unless her service was beyond the norm and she deserved the tip, I would've called her out on that "threat", and have her call the agency and see what they say. Or even walk out, honestly (fee was paid, per agreement).

Tips are always YMMV, and are never mandatory.

I never expect tips. But I do go out of my way sometimes for bookings. Example a 2-3 hour date, or an On, even a 1 hour with a new client I will do my best to impress - I will take the time to go to a grocery store, pick up things for a nice charcuterie board to snack on, pick up sparkling water and lemons, candles set up, an outfit request...little things like that to give the best experience so when tipped it is much appreciated.

The XO lofts are really nice already no need to add anything, high ceilings not like your tiny downtown condo box style that you see everywhere and i like that they have radios it makes it less awkward having music coming in. I know a lot of clients that live there lol they are lucky they just have to walk to the incall next door or the girl walks to them lol....
