Did you enjoy the show? I had thought about watching it, but heard it was pretty dire.
Indeed. I remember the 2 actresses complaining about that. And when you see the 2 scenes, there is no doubt that they must have been really tough to film.
Fact is this movie is excellent, except for the 2 sex scenes which seem out of place considering how long (over 5 loooong minutes each) and how explicit they are.

No, I thought the main character was insufferable but by the time I’ve realized it I was too invested. I’ve also watched for one of the characters’ Australian accent
