I like Hooters for NFL, every game is on at least one TV somewhere in the pub. Food is decent and girls are friendly.

I preferred that place when it was DJ's Pub.
Especially on Ladies Night.

I have such a fondness and appreciation for the Hooters brand. I’ve been to the original Hooters in Clearwater about a dozen times. The one in East Brunswick NJ, while not as good as the FL locations, is still worth visiting. I like going to Hooters in East Brunswick and then making the 1/2 hour drive to GoGoRamma strip club.

After my second visit to the Montreal Hooters, I was on the cusp of emailing Corporate suggesting they investigate the Crescent Street location. It was so damaging to the Hooters brand. Terrible and rude service. Took 15 minutes to get the bartender’s attention. She just disappeared. I waited an hour for boneless wings and a house salad. The wings were cold and the salad was warm, as if it was heated or sitting on a grill. The decor looked nothing like your typical Hooters. Blasphemy! Lol

La Cage on the edge of Complexe Desjardins (by the old Hyatt) is a great place to watch sports.

Never went but a pal did and also said wait staff are rude.
I have seen some of these girls outside on the terrace in summer and they aren't up to par lookswise. Not many big hooters at that Hooters!
I went to one in New Hampshire years ago that had way hotter women.
Btw isn't East Brunswick like Sopranos territory? ;)

That Hooters on Crescent didn't have great wait staff, great staff to look at or great food (plus they never seemed very busy), but they had some of the best and biggest big screen TVs I ever saw at any bar, with one exception. There is some bar near the Bell Center I believe which has like a 50 foot TV screen, can't recall the name of the place and was only there once 10 years ago or more.

When guys go to Hooters they are hoping to look at something "big" other than TV screens. ;)

I live on the jersey waterfront outside NYC, but yes, East Brunswick, about 45 min away from me, is very interesting. You’ll definitely find a Badda Bing club there. I will say the Hooters girls at that location are easy on the eyes.

EB, are you referring to Taverne 1909? I was there last trip in October 2019 with my cousin. We had drinks at the hotel bar with Heaven (his girl) and Annabelle (my girl) when Heaven mentioned it’s a good place to go before or after a Canadians game. It was her recommendation that brought us there. I think that’s the place you are referring to?

Fuck hooters on crescent, I was staying in the condos across the street and me and my brother saw it was like 3 floors so we thought it would be cool to go there, we went in and started going up the stairs and some manager looking dude starts screaming at us being a total dick, apparently the upstairs was closed like how the fuck were we supposed to know that?
Maybe a year later decided to go only because it was close by and raining, walked in and they said the upstairs wasn’t open again so I left

I think that's the place but can't remember I was there over 10 years ago and all I remember was an enormous screen like 50 feet or so and it's near the Bell Center.

Wow. Trust me, I’m pretty easygoing and understand what bartenders and waitresses put up with. But I felt absolutely ignored while sitting at bar, as if I had to beg for a beer. The Hooters bartender totally disappeared for 15 minutes. No apologies.

I knew when I got cold wings and a warm, soggy garden salad (inedible) that this particular Hooters would never last. That company does wonderful quality control and they’re incredible marketers. They were not going to put up with that disastrous restaurant for long. Sure enough, it closed down.

And that particular restaurant would have been better being more Florida-like than trying to assimilate to Quebec culture. It looked nothing like a typical Hooters; the lighting was so dark, the uniforms looked hideous and the personalities of the Hooters girls resembled the border agents I presented my passport to hours before.

Anyone remember the Hard Rock Cafe on Crescent in the 90s? Way before Covid haha.
Cheers on MacKay back then used to be fun too. Think it's a mosque now.

I also recall The Irish Embassy on Bishop. Special K introduced me to this place around 14 years ago. I ate there a few times with him and other people. They had pretty good food, at the time, for an Irish pub.

It used to be Woody's in the 80s/90s. Had a big fire a few years back and never reopened.
