Beav- You and I have the Ravens vs Forty Niners in the Super Bowl, I have a feeling that it's going to be a high scoring, fantastic Super Bowl with lots of drama, I wonder which team Brady will be pulling for considering that both teams kicked his sorry ass.

Josey, me boy. You don't read so gud, do you. While the Beav said a Raven victory "very well could happen," he previously said he "would tend to pick the Patriots." A literate person would interpret that as he's picking the Patriots, but he wouldn't bet his entire stash of HDH apples on it.

Personally, I think the 9.5 spread is probably a bit high, but I would bet my entire stash of HDH apples on it, since I found that while they were verrrry juicy, they did impart an unpleasant after taste. The big advantage, one unlikely to be overcome, will probably be a mediocre performance by a mediocre QB, on Mr. Flacco.

i agree with that matchup as well, at least hoping for it. Defense (USUALLY) wins games, therefore i can see the Ravens beating the patriots. Actually the Ravens are ahead of the patriots in total offense as well, even if it is only by 2 yards lol. The Ravens clearly have the better D as alot of those playoffs yards against came in that 2 OT game last week against the Broncos. In the regular season the Ravens were 17th in the NFL compared to the 25th ranked D in new england. Like i said, if Flacco is on, it is goodnight and goodbye for the brady bunch.

PS....see rumps, you can actually post about the sport once, now keep it up :thumb:

Nor are you. The big differences between you and Joe: 1) Joe has a sense of humor 2) Joe isn't an instigator and shit stirrer and 3) Joe makes positive contributions to the primary function of this board: reviews. He is not a leech.

that's how you explain running it like shit...

You take away these 2 clowns, you would have a civil board.

But back to football.

The Ravens will knock the crap out of the Patriots because:

1. The Ravens are due for a big win and a trip to the Super Bowl.

2. The Ravens' offense can match the Patriots' offense as witnessed in Baltimore's win over Denver.

3. New England fans are obnoxious as hell. God is watching. God hates obnoxious Red Sox and Patriots fans from the obnoxious land of New England.

Over 2/3 of your posts start out with personal attacks and insults. I thought iggy was the King of the Insults, but I was wrong. While he is a major instigator, insulting is ALL you do here. Why I've even noticed in the past that you've gone to threads that have no interest to you, but the mere fact that I've posted in them has drawn you there to hurl some more of your crap. If the mods were to spend half an hour looking at your posts over the last year and a half, you'd certainly be booted out of here for good.

BINGO! :thumb:

PS. Anyone can answer. Personally I think the Ravens match up better on the D-front against the patriots O-line. Also, I think the ace in the hole is Flacco over Rice in this game and for the Ravens to have success, Flacco needs to be that top QB he felt he was a year ago. Pin point passing and zero int's and the Ravens can win this game.

Absolutely on fire!!!!!, you agree Merlot?:thumb:

Meanwhile Terrelle Suggs rips Patriots as being arrogant, gee, I wonder what took so long for Suggs to come around on something that everyone and their grandmother knew.

Suggs also makes a very good point that the Patroits have not won since spygate.

I can't believe that Brady was not tossed for intentionally trying to injure Baltimore safety Ed Reed, what a dirty scumbag Brady is, I hope that Goodell throws the book at him.

Sharpe rips Belichick for being a sore loser,(another thing that the Patroits are famous for).

Quite true!

Joseph.T you indeed called it in the biggest games of the season so far.... and now? who you picking? No way the Ray Lewis on a mission led Ravens lose the big one.

I see it as almost too tough to call. The 49ers seem like the better team but the Ravens have more experience and in particular more big game experience. Flacco has been incredible in three playoff wins but Colin Kaepernick has been excellent as well. I like Kaepernick's better mobility than Flacco, but I like Flacco's greater playoff experience even more.

If pressed my money would probably be on the Ravens. I am not sure why, because the 49ers are slightly more dominant on D. The Ravens just seem like a team of destiny with the talent to make their own destiny.

I will predict that the Patriots will not win the Super Bowl.:thumb:

You didn't even have them making the playoffs Joe. Or any other number of spot on missed predictions. Lol.

As for the Harbaugh Bowl, I despise Jim Harbaugh and I really like John Harbaugh, two completely different class of coaches. The Ray Lewis factor is finished, 49ers are gonna crush Baltimore.

NOBODY wants this more than Ray Lewis and how a way for one of the greatest players of all time to leave the game then with a ring.

Ravens are winning the superbowl.

He already has a ring from 2000 oh and then was involved in the murder of two individuals at the after party. Class act that Ray Lewis is!

Ray Lewis was cleared of all charges.

Actually he pled guilty to the lesser charge of obstruction of justice in exchange for testifying against his two friends, who were then acquitted of murder charges by a jury based on self defense defenses. Under the doctrine of self defense you are only privileged to use deadly force if threatened with deadly force, and the jury was likely so instructed.

The NFL fined Lewis $250,000, I believe the largest fine ever for an incident that was not related to football.

Lewis appears to have had a clean slate since then and has played great in the playoffs so far.

So his plea bargain to obstruction of justice for ratting on his 2 boys doesn't count as a charge? He's a fucken hypocrital scumbucket!

No buddy boy, it is called giving someone the benefit of the doubt and the fact also that people can and do change.

The man (Lewis) paid a price, seems to have learnt from it by being a great citizen for many many years and you still wanna crucify him? Sorry but that is not what the Usa or Canada are about.... you make mistakes, turn your life around and people admire that not condemn it, for the most part anyways. Had this been a pAtriot you would love the guy.

But don't worry, Joe, Iggy and the rest will whitewash him.Cheers,

Merlot
