Need advice on puchasing Cell-phone anonymously to get into this hobby

Hi Guys, just started lurking here on Merb and would love to join in on this fun hobby. Here's my situation, the wifey has litle interest in sex and i still need it regularly, she has other great qualities, so i'm just gonna get 'some on the side'. She handles all the bills etc. so I want to be able to puchase in cash a pay-as-you- go burner cell phone to contact SPs and be anonymous as possible should the SP be busted and my phone # info doesn't get traced back to me.

I went into Rogers the other day to get a pay-as-you-go phone and as i was about to pay, the guy asks to see some ID??!! I told him i left it in the car and left. Is there a carrier that I can purchase a prepay in cash without showing ID, refill with cash purchased vouchers like those i see at the check-outs, activate anonymously online etc. It seems so easy in the movies and TV.

    Thanks guys.

That's the first time I heard you have to show ID to buy a phone? Try best buy or Walmart.

Get an area code that is NOT your actual area code for your phone number (to be on the safe side). Petro is Nationwide minutes. It does cost 20- to 30 cents a minute on these pay-as-you-go phones. There are several companies but Petro is Ok too.

I tried getting a Petro Canada phone the first time I wanted to see escorts. They had a sale of $100 for a phone and 100 hours within a year. More than enough for me. I called ahead to be sure I could get one at the nearest place to where I was staying. No problem they said. I got there and they didn't have the phones. I went to a couple of other stations. None there. The best way to handle it with Petro is to order the phone ahead and have them hold it for you. Or you can set up a post office box in a Canadian location and they will send it there. They won't ship it out of Canada. I don't see the $100 offer any more. What they are offering is okay for visitors who don't need to use the phone much.

You can also CALL the Petro Canada locations near you to make sure they have the Pre-paid cell phones there.
