    SEX poll for Service Providers!

On a percantage scale please rate each category as to why you like being a SP:

    1. For Money
    2. I am nymphomaniac
    3. I meet more nice guys this way than in bars!
    4. Its more fun than watching T.V!..lol

Please feel free to add any other category. All must add up to 100%.

    Thanx

I have SPed for several different reasons! I think the question may be too obtuse to answer just one reason. When I started SPing, I made a decision that I would cut off my own personal "unpaid" side and have rarely had sex outside of hobbying since I started. Once in a while, yea, okay. However, I have actually found that men who are paying were much more respectful, and considerate than that guy who got some for free! It is completely perplexing to me!

Maybe it is my expectations that change the interaction? I mean, as an SP, I am not trying to start a relationship, or make the guy "love" me or anything else like that. I am simply trying to make sure that he has a great time, wants to see me again and pays my rate... In my personal life, I think my guard might be up higher, I might be trying too hard to impress the guy with things outside of sex. Maybe, outside of sex I am not all that remarkable! lol! Who knows...

    So back to the question:

#1 - money (75%). If you know of any other business I could get into that I can make as much, have the flexible schedule and the pleasure factor - please, let me know what that is!

#2 - excitement (15%). I know I could sleep with 25 different guys a week if I wanted to outside of being an SP, but that isn't a challenge. There is no way for me to "quantify" how much the guy wanted to bang me. It is stupid, but the payment IS part of the excitement, but not for the same reasons as #1 - does that make any sense?

#3 - tied for variety, and fame! (10% each) Yea, I know it sounds tacky, but I am trying to be honest here... Again, I could get variety from the club scene, hell, just amongst my friends if I wanted to, but we all have this familiarity that I don't get from SPing. I can meet a lawyer one day and a truck driver tomorrow. A doctor, a hairdresser, a military guy, etc... all over the board. Bars don't lend themselves to such a wide range of guys (at least not in my experience)... I can meet that shy guy, which is, to me, the gem of all types.

The fame part is different, but I rank it highly. Nothing perks me up more than going back and reading my reviews. The reviews, have in part, become my fantasies as well. I am pretty much perfect in these renditions of sessions I have shared... that is a sweet feeling! Imagine if you guys could be perfectly sexy almost every time you had sex with someone, and not only did she let you know she loved every moment, but she let everyone else know what a great and fabulous lover you were?

    Anik

Guys, instead of criticizing azzaro's poll, maybe you should actually read what he is asking?
He is not asking each girl to pick one option,
he is asking each girl what percentage each option accounts for in her personal decision.

I hate trying to apply % to things but for me in order of importance:

The flexibility of work hours; meaning I can work as much or as little as I want, not too many jobs I can tell the boss: 'Oh I am taking this week to study for an exam' I can build my work schedule around my life and not the other way around. I got into sex work after a major burn out, when my employment insurance ran out and welfare refused me (I was living in a womans shelter at the time and the considered the house I had bought with my X a second residence.)

The money; it is the highest paying job that I can do as a student. Not too many part-time jobs pay this well. I do not plan on continuing after I graduate. (Well I might keep seeing a couple of favorites when they come into town... guys, it pays to learn how to eat pussy properly!)

Meeting people: In general, I have met nicer and more respectful guys through SPing than I ever did dating! Also it gives me the opportunity to meet all sorts of wonderful people who I probably would have never met otherwise. I have made some great friends since I started SPing.

My strong sex drive; As a woman it is fairly easy to get laid but in this business, it is one of the perks.

You will notice the money is not #1. Maybe I am strange... I have been very well off in my lifetime and very very poor: as in not knowing where my next meal is coming from or if I will still have a roof over my head tomorrow. During those times I went from being in a severe depression while living quite comfortably to finding my way out of that depression while poor. Money is definately not the most important thing for me.

They will forget what you said,
they will forget what you did,
but they will never forget the way you made them feel.

I agree with Daringly that money is the primary reason for entering this business & staying in it. But i do think that the other stuff does matter for chosing to remain in it. When the other stuff starts to matter too much in a negative way & outweighs the primary reason ($$), sps eventually chose to leave.

Ronnie, let's try something: For the next month, you'll keep your schedule the same way you like it, work as little or as much as you like, see the same type of guys you usually do but, at the end of each encounter, you'll inform the guy you won't take his money this month and absolutely refuse that he pay you.

Now, you still want to do the same job? Is money still #2?

Sorry but, no matter if it's an SP or an engineer, 99% of peoples work for the money. We need money to live. Sad but pure water and love just don't do it. Even beggars work for money! Very few peoples actually work for the pleasure, unless some great peoples who do volunteer work.

So, to me, choice #1 IS money, no matter what. It's not about making millions $ versus minimum wages, it's doing what's required for us to make enough money so we're allowed to live in a way we find acceptable. We want more, we do what's required to get more. Unless we personally don't need "work" money, we can't honesty say our first reason for being in a specific line of work isn't money.

    "I pay them to leave!"

"I pay them to leave!" was a line used by Jack Nickolson at the time his name came out during the Heidi Fleiss scandal. He didn't deny using the services of prostitutes over many years, but denied he paid them for sex.

One former very popular sp once told me that yes indeed, she did it primary for the money & it was the reason she entered the business. But one thing she gained out of it was confidence. She kept getting praised for her beauty & intelligence, something she rarely heard prior to entering the business. Growing up with an inferiority complex, she told me that the business turned things around for her in that aspect (and financially, of course).

    sp

There are going to be next to no sp's stay in the business. Now take the same 5 jobs and the first 4 jobs all pay $10 per hour and the job as an sp pays $20. per hour. Even though it is double the pay there is still going to be a severe sp shortage in montreal. Very few if any is going to choose to be an sp.

Now take the 5 same jobs and the first 4 pay the same $10. per hour
and the job as an sp now pays $100. per hour it is back to business as usual in montreal as they would pretty much all choose to continue on as an sp. So my point is it is not about the sex, meeting great guys and all the other stuff we hear, but the truth is it is about the money and not much else.
    Well...
    I think you are right!
    My question is why ?

My own answer to that "why" is...

I have already talk about that in some other posts. Lets just stick on Noth american society. Even if people think that they are totally free from their judeo-christian background, they are not totally, they just CAN'T... We are born and raised somewhere and this influence all of us. It's everywhere really quiet now, I agree... but it's still there, everywhere and in everyone...

Now, why a girl would'nt be sp if it was'nt giving that much money ??
Most of the people can look at it and say being an escort is great because of the money and all other advantage... Now take off the money and people will think that a girl will not be an SP if it was at the same salary then an other job.

I agree with that! I think that way too... If being an escort was giving an ordinary salary there will really not be a lot of SP's... really not!!
Why ? probably because most of the people saw it somewhere, somehow in their life as something that can be "dégradant" (dont know in english).

    Now speaking for myself ?!
    It's hard to say...
    And...
WoW I don't even feel like writing it here... I know that plenty of people would either dont understand, or laugh at me or think that I'm a freak or that I'm telling lies...
So, I wont !! ahaha! oups sorry!

All I can say is that...
I have formations that could make me make 60$/h...
I have already done almost the same salary by being webmaster of some "porn websites"
I still prefer to be an Sp... It fit much more with who I am and with my taste.

Just keep in mind guys that (although most of the people look like they are all thinking in a very similar way...) somepeople have a different way of thinking, of feeling with others, with society, a different background etc...

I believe that, if being an Sp was'nt giving so much money and so much freedom there will be really not much SP's...
But there will still be some of them... (3-4 in montreal ?!)
And this is not about sex or because they are looking for a boyfriend or are not able to do anything else... trust me!
(although I know you wont !!! ahahahaaha)

    A different point of view

Obviously money is the number one incentive for an SP - this is his/her work. Why does anyone work? To earn money - no other reason. Why would an SP be any different?

    Your test makes no sense.

I am in a position right now where I can go out and get a "real" job and a good paying one at that. (Unlike many other working girls who do not have the luxury of such a choice.) I got into the sex business out of desperation; I stay in it for all the reasons I mentioned.

I never said I don't work for money. I said that my reasons for being an SP include far more than money and if those other conditions were not being met then I would probably no longer be an SP!

I can go out and get a "real" job, and earn a similar income, with my education and experience. If fact I have an EX-boss who still wants me back but I am not interested in working those hours, and dealing with jerks and all the other reasons I quit that job.

I work to earn a living just like everyone else. I choose my line of work for all the reasons I listed, not just how much money I can make.

    Ronnie,
    Naughtylady

P.S. The question was, "Why do you LIKE being an SP?"

    You know what irks me?

People who have never worked in the sex industry who think they understand what it is like to be a sex worker better than the providers themselves.

People who tell me why I do things, who do not know me. People who think they know all about me who have never met me (or have only spent a short ammount of time with me). I am a very complex person. Just like everybody else is a complex person. You cannot generalize. You cannot assume. Everybody is an individual with their own motivations.

Its Not All About the Money!!

I'm sorry but I have to speak up on this topic.

Saying its just about the money is very ignorant and just a simple answer.

One of my very best friends is a Montreal SP (retired) and she has discussed this topic with me many times over the years and it truly is not just about the money.

She doesn't ever have to escort again if she doesn't want to but yet she misses the "thrill" of meeting new and interesting guys. She misses the incredible sex she has too with a new stranger. And she has a few very close friends from this business including me.

I know very well because I can not fulfill and compete (nor can any one guy) with what she misses from being a SP, but I try.

Sure, there have been times where she has to try to be sexy to that ungroomed, smart ass (there is no perfect job) but generally most guys are truly gentlemen and treat her very special. Yes, its also a major self-confidence booster.

Anyways, there are many more small details that she misses about being a SP so all I can say is "its not all about the money"!!

    Best Lover
