    Best Lounge?

Does anyboady have a recommendation for a lounge to hang out in on the evenings? I am looking for a ESL/Theivery Corp type lounge and music.

I go to Montreal regularly but have never found one to me taste.

BTW. If there are any girls out there that like this type of music, let me know. I am planning a trip in March.

    Thanks for responding.

Electronic Bossa Nova is the best way to describe it.

Here is the link to their Washington DC lounge. ESL. You can hear a sample in their HiFi section.

I am sure there has to be a ESL type lounge in Montreal. Montreal is such an avant-garde party place, it is hard to imagine that Theivery Corp has not made its way north.

    BTW. Other similar artists are

Bebel Giberto - Tanto Tempo Remixes

Ariane Moffatt - Aquanaute (she is a Quebecios)

    StripperLover,

This kind of music is very popular now and pretty fashion on the Plateau Mont-Royal.
Ariane Moffatt is a well-known artist who's a top seller in Quebec's music.

I will second the motion of Laika. I don't know if the Sofa still exist but i guess it could be a good choice. It is at the corner of Rachel and St-Denis.

    thumbs up on the music.

ESL sounds a bit like portishead, though I only listened to one track.
