They got no choice. Government enforced rules. It is all for show.

i'm a little confused about yesterday's goverment announcement. THey say massotherapy can resume june 1st, but that spas must remain closed. What kind of license do massage parlours have in montreal?

Business can resume everywhere in Quebec on June 1st with the exception of Montreal and surrounding area plus Joliette. Distancing will be required as well as the wearing of masks for both client and provider from what I've read. No date has been set for Montreal and Joliette.

How stupid could this get ? They allow massage parlors but not barber shops ?

I'm sure barber shops will be allowed since they mentioned hair salons. But they did not mention massage parlors per se, they said massage therapy..lol.

For Adagio: I looked on their website and I didn't find anything in relation to the reopening announcement on June 1st, also on the web and I found nothing either.

I looked on several sites and no reopening announcements. I imagine that the salons will announce their reopening soon.

I don't know but they sure are a really good one... on the same level as the Penthouse i would say... Girls are amazing and the place is neat and clean.
Most reviews I saw were mixed. In general, the girls look very good but are cold and mechanical.

Do you have pop-up blocked? When you enter their site, a pop-up show up saying they are re-opening on the 1st June and to click to reserve.

Adagio is where the LePenthouse rejects go after they’ve been caught trying to overcharge you at LePenthouse.

Thank you very much, Batista Mason, I knew I had a problem, and I fixed it.
You're right, it is very well indicated on their site.
Thanks again

How do you know that?
I know because I know. But, don't take my word for it, check the review pages for both and you will come to the same conclusion.

I wonder if in the beginning there will be a lot of customers, regulars, new ones?

In the past I was a regular massage parlor, and in some salons we met other clients. Now privacy is going to be the order of the day.

I think that we could perhaps be better with the independents, ideally be the first client and know her masseuse well.

masseotherapy implies more of a therapeutic type massage, our type of spas is more for Adult entertainment so is a different license category. For example in Winnipeg, massage therapy can open but bodyrub cannot thus why Executive Bath got fined $ 2500 for re opening ( they have a Bodyrub license ). What about Quebec City ? there are a few adult spas there, will they open ? In Ottawa the spas and men's clubs like Brass Club and Club Madellyne Jae will likely open in Phase 3

Again this post is what I experienced. I haven't been there for several years.

When I started in this wonderful hobby, I just went to massage parlors, so I visited several parlors and several independent masseuses.

Several had no form of hygiene.
Some had established higher hygienic standards. Among these, there was the "Mascarade" massage parlor, and for the independents "Lana"

I will wait and when it reopens, I think they will introduce a new way of doing things. To be continued.
