Here are NHL Power Rankings, Edmonton's #1 but NYR #13? They say the Rangers are relying too much on Shesterkin to save them night after night and need another defenseman, but maybe Shesterkin will save them night after night?

I am calling it like it is Igor was the player of the game. ESPN power rankings I posted above said the Rangers are relying on him too much to save them again and again and again and he is facing too many shots. Actually Drouin said the same things when NYR faced Habs in Montreal, he said there were tons of rebounds and opportunities and no bodies in front.

I do think Igor is a good name for a male dog if I get one.

NORDIQUES...PM LEGAULT est un grand fan de hockey et des HABS.....mais voyant la déplorable saison des siens décide de s'attaquer et de s'occuper lui-même du dossier du retour des NORDIQUES..... c'est great. .

Il aurait même déjà eu une conversation avec BETMAN et ce dernier...hum...n'aurait pas fermé la porte .....peut quand même pas envoyer paître un PM....lol.....alors va jouer la game.....lol.

LEGAULT a confié ce dossier à son Ministre des Finances qui devrait rencontrer BETMAN en Janvier.

Évidemment encore loin de la Coupe aux lèvres..MAIS faut pas sous-estimer le pouvoir de négo de notre PM....l'on sait qu'il peut être très coriace.....à suivre....et de quoi alimenter nos discussions autour de la dinde.....my 2 cents.

Why is today's Rangers game against the Senators postponed instead of forfeited? If the Senators don't have enough players to play that is their problem. The Rangers should get the 2 points.

I might just do that........in most sports when you don't have enough players to play, you forfeit. I was reading that a high school team in Connecticut could not field enough players so they forfeited the games on their schedule:

Derby High School To Forfeit Final Five Games

Injuries leave the team unable to field a team safely for the remaining games.

Why should the Senators be treated any differently?????? They should have forfeited the games. They are NOT special and are no different than the Derby football team.

Roger Goodell put that rule ... Not sure if it's the same for Nhl ...

"Each Club must have a roster of at least 20 players, composed of 18 skaters and two goaltenders."

So the Senators do not have the necessary 20 players. That is a violation of the NHL guidelines and it is NOT the problem of the NY Rangers. The NY Rangers have the necessary 20 players to play tonight. So why don't they get 2 points?

Fox had 2 assists and now has 18 points in 18 games- how many defensemen give you 1 point per game production? But your Rangers player of the game is Artemi Panarin with 3 assists:
