The RANGERS have indeed won the Battle of New York City, 4-1, a game which was played in the Islanders' new home arena on the outskirts of NYC in Elmont, NY. Although Igor played great again (.952%), player of the game with 2 goals was alternate Captain, Chris Kreider, who just gets better and better and better and now has 15 goals, tied with Ovechkin for 2nd in the NHL, behind Draisatl:

Unfortunately, because the Habs handed the Capitals 2 easy points last night, the Rangers are still 3rd place behind the Capitals and Hurricane. I thought NYR might get some help from the Habs, but no chance ..........it seems like the Capitals own Montreal.

Islanders have yet to win a game in their new home and have lost their last 7 in a row. Nobody showed up to their old venue dubbed the Mausoleum instead of the coliseum because it was so dead. I’m definitely biased because im a Blue Shirts fan, but I was hoping the Islanders would of had a better start at their new home. Also, their new home in Elmont NY is a logistics nightmare. It makes zero sense to put a venue there. The Belmont Stakes is in the same area and once a year the traffic is at a dead stop for miles and nobody uses the public transportation. On Long Island we tend to drive everywhere. Now there’s going to be traffic 40 something times a year. Total shit show.

Watch as Artemi Panarin threw his glove at Brad Marchand while both were on their team's benches. Both players received misconduct penalties. Asked why Panarin threw his glove at him, Marchand said: "We were just asking each other how Thanksgiving dinner was.........He didn't like what I ate."

Bush ducked and never got hit with the shoes. Panarin nailed Marchand with his glove.
Although TBH I was not happy that bench jockeying would so easily get under Panarin's skin. This incident will only invite further abuse. You give it back the bullies on the ice, which Panarin also did.

This is ridiculous, teams are postponing games against the Rangers because they don't want to get their asses kicked and the Rangers are not getting any points. I don't like that teams are being allowed to manipulate the rules to avoid playing teams that are hot......it's not fair.

You can't be serious with this statement, first , the protocol is established and ruled by the league and, second, these games will be played eventually.
