Quick question for everyone: Do you typically respond to your PMs? Unfortunately, I haven’t been active in this forum and hobby for the past 8-9 months, and during that time, my inbox blew up and has filled up with messages from members. I don’t want to come across as rude, but I also find it challenging to reply to 100+ messages all at once. Additionally, I simply don’t have the time to respond to each one individually right now. I usually make an effort to reply, but with such a backlog, it’s difficult to go through them one by one. As soon as I find a moment, I’ll work on answering them promptly and organizing my inbox. I hope nobody takes offense.

I don't get as many PMs as you :) so I do reply to ones I get.

Probably because of all my reviews, members often seek additional information, and I'm always happy to assist any member. However, with over 100+ messages now, it's starting to take up a lot of my free time. I just feel bad about it and want to ensure no one misunderstands or thinks I'm being rude by not responding for the time being.

I always do. Generaly questions are about info that you can't put in a thread.
I will stop responding when the same person starts asking 2, 3 questions in a row of information that was in my post or the rest of the thread.
I'm not that active & therfore I don't post that many reviews, I also try to put as much info as I can when I do, so I rarely have more than 1 or 2 PM's to respond to

Here is what I suggest : you could read a maximum of ten PM a day, and probably have to answer half of them (my guess). This way, two weeks should be enough to manage all your PM

I don’t receive too many PMs, and I respond most of the time (unless it’s a stupid question).
It's quite astonishing how many "stupid" questions I get, though I must admit, I don't mind and actually find it amusing and entertaining . I do believe members spend an incredible amount of time investigating and inquiring about the service provider's menu and other stupid inquiring , only to discover once that they they are ready to book, that the service providers are either fully booked or have retired. Honestly, it's funny how long they invest in the investigation!

That is some conundrum to have there. I think the only place I have seen 100+ unchecked/unanswered, is in my personal email, because of subscriptions to things I don't care to follow up on, on a regular basis.

I check my messages if I have any, when I come on to see updates on threads I have followed. Less often than I used to.

I only receive PM sporadically. I do visit the board daily (or close to it) so i can answer them as they come. Sometimes i see i have 7-8 notifications but its mostly "likes" on my posts (sometimes reviews, sometimes just a general post) but most PM i saw at once was like 3. So i can reply to everyone. I may not do it on the spot if i am on my phone as i prefer typing with a keyboard, not a touch screen, but i will during the same day.

If i don't reply to someone its because i chose to. For instance someone who ask for "premium infos" but has been here for years and have like 5 posts... sorry lurker, but you need to contribute first ;)

I typically do reply unless I don't have anything to add. But I definitely don't receive close to that many ever lol

I usually do reply but sometimes I dislike messages about the best stripclub for mileage. Because I cut my stripclub visits by a lot, I might go once a week and there is no mileage at the clubs anymore.

I wish I could send everyone a screenshot of my inbox, but unfortunately, I can’t since the screenshot contain member names and service provider name, sharing such information could breach members' trust. I always responded promptly to everyone before my period of absence. Please keep in mind that over 100 messages accumulated during a period when I was inactive for at least six months It’s understandable that so many messages would pile up in that time, especially considering my active presence on MERB and all my reviews.
