I went to shop at the local Big Y this morning and in the produce department I saw a large stand of Canadian hyrdoponic tomatoes. The ones being tariffed at 25%. They were $3.29/pound and looked pretty good,, as compared to some $2.39/pound soil grown tomatoes on an adjoining stand. So I bought one. I also bought a hard roll and some lunch meat and cheese. When I came home for lunch, I sliced up the Canadian hydroponic tomato, and put it on the hard roll with capicola, provolone cheese, and a little Greek Feta salad dressing. It was delicious! Tariffs be damned! It's not stopping me from buying a juicy Canadian hydroponic tomato!
King Donald unqualifiied or crooked administration has been notified that most of his all-around tarrifs are illegals !

According to what we can see, neither choice is good but the present in power is beating all records.
In fact, this is not a normal administration but an unqualified kingdom assembled and runned by a crazy king !
I heard and read by knowing Americans that know much more than I, that for each job saved in steel producing in USA, 700 jobs are lost in industries that use that more costly steel.
But the geniuses that Trump in charge of trading apparently either don't know that or are afraid of their King !
His favorability polling has ticked up, but he is still underwater with slightly higher unfavorably poll numbers. Being underwater this early in his presidency is unprecedented, but everything is unprecedented with him. MAGA Americans will always approve of him, and even traditional conservative republicans may speak out but seemingly always come back to him. In our deeply divided and tribal partisan society objective critical thinking is discouraged so poll numbers don't move very much from their baseline. Independent voters in a few swing states decide elections, so that's who the pollsters should be polling.
