I don't want to write a paragraph or even less a novel because much has already been said about it, but when you stop and think real hard about it, modern life is a disease. Stated differently, modernity does not equate progress.

Anthony, you inspire me. To the point, where I have to pace myself, not to write sus-mentioned novels replying about your various topics. I enjoy reading your stuff. Thanks.

This one really annoys me. All the grocery stores when they advertise the price per weight, it could be vegetables or meat, it is always advertised in big signs the price in pounds but on the cash they charge in kilogram. I find that highly deceptive because to the layman it appears much cheaper. You see tomatoes and it appears cheap but it is not as you did not get the price in kilogram which is charged at the cash. It is a pet peeve and really annoying. The price per kilogram is written in fine print. They need to pass some law to ban these deceptive practices.

Same for Costco

I hate Costco's ads where they write in big font the savings and trick your brain to think it's the product price whereas the price is written in little font at the bottomView attachment 115035

You think everything costs few dollars only

I am pissed off that come May 1st, I will have to go to the new designated drop-off place for my empty cans and bottles, as opposed to the nearest grocery stores.

Talk about making life difficult.

I forgot to post this. This deposit system is so annoying and it got very complicated since they upped it to 10 cents. Each time I went to return at the grocery stores there was often a homeless with a huge bag and only one machine so I had to wait very long. But these last six months a lot of the machines at the grocery stores were out of service. Some of those machines remained out of service for weeks and I knew they were doing it on purpose. They did not want to deal with this. This the only province with the deposit system, no other province does this. This should be scrapped. Let people recycle like plastic and paper to throw it in bins. It was nice when I used to live in Toronto not having to store bags of empty cans in my house.
