I haven’t had a review in forever and I’m still getting new clients but most of them tell me they have checked my online presence more than my reviews

I don’t think people care about reviews as much as people make it seem

I hardly ever recieved reviews. It's been 4 years now.

Like you I get new interests from social media, rather than reviews. Go figure they find me threw being captivated by my political views and messages on other peoples content, often nothing to do with SW. Check me out and find their way to my fan content, and website. And I get to push friends content along aswell.

Not to mention the energy is different over there, than here. It's been nice to have been taking a break from here. Good for mental health to step away from the pressures of the thought of reviews.

I agree. Social media is a great way to find clients honestly, and my favorite type of client is the type that enjoys getting to know the provider before booking her. The problem is that most clients are still using Twitter to find escorts.

My Twitter got suspended multiple times and I gave up on making a new one. The last one had very poor visibility and I reached a 700 follower count only between December and June. It was pointless work. I had thousands of followers on my first Twitter account and it was honestly a great way to find clients. I feel pretty bummed out about it. I also don't know which rules I broke because I was very careful last time. I had an Instagram account at some point, but it got suspended after 1 month.

Thankfully, a handful of clients use bluesky, but I suspect that most clients who frequently visit Montreal or live here are still using Twitter only, Americans too. When I visited Ottawa however, most of the gentlemen who booked me had found me on Bluesky, and that really surprised me. Some of the men who booked me in Toronto recently have also found me there. But I think a lot of clients didn't seem to get the memo about Bluesky..

I definitely notice a decrease in interesting inquiries when I first lost my 2nd Twitter account last December, I had been able to rebuild pretty fast.. And then when the third one was suspended in July it was the nail in the coffin. It sucks that we have to depend on these platforms to get clients.. But I guess part of this job is adapting to different conditions in clever ways. It just gets really exhausting lol

I'm finding the trick for socials is in the nod to the business, without actually outwardly advertising.

That's the thing.. I believe the police knows the scene pretty well. And many people, clients and workers, know a bunch of employers on first name basis and have seen what they look like, even. Something being illegal is one thing, that law being enforced is another. In Montreal there are so many sex workers and so many people who come to the city to see escorts, get erotic massages and go to strip clubs.. It's kinda part of the city's underground economy in a way. Hotels, restaurants, etc probably make so much money because of us. I suspect it's not advantageous to get rid of this industry, or at least way too tedious... but who knows..

It would be foolish to believe this forum is not being actively monitored by the police. It's a good way to keep a tab on the current environment and if there is suddenly discussion on trafficking, clients commenting on SPs suspected of being minors, organized criminal activity, violence or threats of violence, etc, this would be the place to know. Like the two posts this summer of a client being threatened outside his car after following a LL provider and the one client noticing Latin American providers with handprint tattoos seemed a bit suspicious. Also the fact the two agencies have their in calls on the same block as a police station with cop cars parked on the same road often with an officer at the entrance of road seems a bit on the nose.

Yeah I think it depends on a lot of things. Different things can attract new clients for sure.

My main point was : unfortunately what is said about us affects our income and how we get treated. Someone saying something good about you online will bring new clients.. Somebody recommending you. If someone says something bad it will impact you negatively. I probably exaggerated and gave a bad example about the recent reviews if it doesn't apply to everyone, but the fact that reputation matters in this industry is true particularly for escorts. That's why a forum like this has to be regulated.

Have you guys noticed the evolving strategies of the OF models? Their pages also got banned frequently, but they are getting more and more tricky about it. They often have PG/PG13 IG or TikTok pages with large followings with a linktree to a secondary burner with a empty or single photo/video IG/TT with another linktree to their OF/Amazon wish list, etc. And the OF linked is a free SFW OF that also links to a subscriber only NSFW OF.

Is handprint tattoo supposed to mean something nefarious, like tied to a specific criminal gang?

If actually true, the suggestion was that they were trafficked and owed money to possibly a cartel that they were working off. I did read that there was a time there was interagency rivalry and violence with one agency possibly setting fire to an incall location or something or sabotaging the condo buzzer system.

The agencies are ultimately Canadian and their security which they do have likely are more used to enforcing payment and good behavior from clients rather than dealing with rivals facing concealed firearms and such which cartels would be familiar with.

I don't want to open a controversial debate but nobody on this forum would say they suspect a SP of being a minor lol. Some users are specifically looking for very young SP and a 60 year old man cannot tell the difference between a 15 year old and a 18 year old most of the time.

But the police knows this.. also some review threads definitely point out at somebody potentially being in trouble. If you read between the lines. However it's likely that the police doesn't have access to private conversations, or those group chats on WhatsApp and Signal and Telegram where clients share info and content, and aren't affiliated with the people who moderate and own this forum.

I am not an expert but I think the hand print tattoo is an urban legend. I've watched multiple interviews with survivors of sex trafficking and I know people who were trafficked or groomed into the industry as minors, they do not have a tattoo like this.
