CLES is its name. Look it up. It is a 100% pure feminist organization with zero influence from Conservatives. They operate under Radical Feminism and Abolitionist Feminist. They are a big player in pushing anti-prostitution campaigns. A lot of these women hold misandrist beliefs and same for many SWs. They will bash men and put them down on social media but will see see them as clients. I find it weird how some of these women clearly have contempt for men but at the same time are working as escorts to see male clients. You can protect women from being sexually exploited and trafficked without making all men as being predators for wanting to have sex and all women as helpless infants.
You mean like some in this chat ?

Euphoria website is currently down and it sucks if they gonna close... I hope they rebound in some form. I suppose the current iteration is "toast" because they revealed where are the incalls etc.

If James decide to stay open he will have to find a new place to assure discretion. I mean so far he has not been arrested or anything.

But if journalists can so easily compromise agencies ... Man this is worrying.

And this is the worst thing that could’ve happened as a result. Now, 30+ girls are left without their jobs or side income. This is unbelievable.

Journalists are not “compromising” agencies. They’re reporting things that everyone already knows. Don’t get me wrong : situations were violence and assault are reported should be managed. But this?
This is not the way to regulate the situation.

The same thing happened in Laval around 2016–2017. They shut down all the MPs right around Christmas.

How hypocritical to portray themselves as “people who want to help women” while causing them this much distress and taking away their source of income.

I am absolutely baffled.

I briefly looked at their website... I don't want to look into it too much... and yes they claim to be a feminist organization. But I'm not talking about ''conservatives'' as in the conservative party. I meant that it is inherently conservative in values to be against sex work. Radical feminism isn't all feminism. I don't see anything on this website that is about hating men. However, they are conflating consensual sex work with trafficking.

And yes, we can protect women from being exploited and trafficked without saying all men are predators...... That's what I've been saying. Also yes what is called ''radical feminism'' is kinda conservative because it holds the belief that men are inherently predatory and women are helpless infants who have no agency. That is a conservative belief at it's core. Saying that men can't control themselves around women and respect them is conservative. Saying women are helpless and infantile also is conservative.

The Liberals are against it also. They claim to be feminists and say that selling sex is violence against women. The organization are like SWERs. They believe selling sex is exploitation by men. About misandrist, look at twitter I see it all the time in the tweets of various SWs and I see it often from various women on social media.

No. The feminists said that, not the Conservatives. You are confusing the two. The Conservatives ban it due to morality, they push puritanical laws but the feminists demonize men for wanting sex and are against the patriarchy. They see men buying sex as a form of Patriarchy.

When I say ''conservative'' I'm not talking about the Canadian political party, I'm talking about what conservative Christian values usually represent.

Most political parties have a wide variety of beliefs, some are progressive and some are less progressive. If it is more right leaning, it will have less progressive values. If it is left learning, it is more likely to have more progressive values, but that doesn't mean the party is entirely progressive. It isn't progressive to be anti sex, generally. It is also not progressive to be against sex work even if you view it purely as a form of labor, because you can see it under the lens of workers rights.

Example: As a sex worker, I should have the right to choose clients who are kind and respectful. Meaning, I don't think all clients are predators.

Every agency is at risk. All the journalist had to do is pose as a willing candidate which just shows the hypocrisy of the whole thing. There is no mention of coercion from James and the ex escorts interviewed are very vague about any misgivings. They talk about James like anyone would about a boss.

Its a whole nothing burger article. It would have been interesting if they interviewed Chloe who was (is?) a big recruiter on tinder of sexually liberated young girls looking for some luxury.

Okay I understand now. You are right about those Conservative Evangelistic ones, but do not discount feminists especially radical feminists. I am just saying that they are as much pushing for no prostitution from them as religious zealots are. Progressive does not mean friendly to prostitution.

Yes I just said that "radical feminists" are harmful for us.. being friendly to sex workers rights and pro decriminalization is progressive and anchored in reality.

What I'm saying is that these "radical feminists" secretly hold similar beliefs as conservative evangelists and share similar narratives. It's hypocrisy.

If they were that interested in our well being they would actually work with us instead of against us. No sex worker in their right mind will reach out to an abolitionist organization for support.

There is an organization that offers help for sex workers in Montreal they are called Stella and all the employees are current or former sex workers.

Having them fold is no good for anyone. I’ve always said, outcall only for me. Saves me many headaches all around.

The incall locations being disclosed means that if they want to continue operating they would want to relocate before continuing operations.

Agencies are actually illegal and only a small thing needs to come up for them to be busted. It's not happening with independents as we are not illegal, we can earn and keep our own prostitution money, as long as we're not commiting crimes.
True but as James himself says in the article, as long as there is no minor involved or nothing crazy the police will usually turn a blind eye to it.

I wonder if Euphoria owns those condos or rents them. Anyways they won't be able to operate there anymore, can you imagine the number of complaints they will be getting from residents?

They don't own them. They rent, the owners of the buildings know what's going on. Partnership if you can say.
