France riots

France is Canada's future. They are rioting for high cost of living and stagnant wages. That is what rapid population growth does. There are many similarities to what is happening in Canada. Mass uncontrolled immigration then the ever expanding welfare state only serves to make corporations and millionaires richer. Everything gets more expensive and wages drop. Also far-left governments are intentionally making energy more expensive with climate change policies. All of this is related and what is happening in France is where Canada is headed with this corrupt Liberal government.
Carney be like "We gotta pump those numbers up, those are rookie numbers".

The tinfoil hat Dale Gribble in my soul can't stop theorizing that this is seen across the major Anglosphere countries (UK. Canada, Australia, not USA because they do whatever the fuck they want) as a form of "controlled collapse", i.e. they know the system cannot be saved so they're euthanizing it slowly. And the limeys don't have the EU to blame anymore as they left that club and the Death Camp of Tolerance experiment did not slow down for them. What will the endgame be after that? The rich fuck off to their underground bunkers and leave the unwashed masses to Mad Max/Escape from L.A. themselves? I've learned not to discount any rationale as too "cartoon villain" for those running the show, they've possibly considered worse.

^^^^ The riots now started in Germany. They all have two things in common, uncontrolled mass immigration and out of control government spending. This is an example of people breaking due to the greed of the rich.

^^^^ There was an article an article from the National Post in 2024 that said the RCMP warned that Canadians will revolt when they realize how little money they and how broke they are. What they predicted is what we are now seeing in France and now spread to Germany. This is going to be a massive problem because the same indicators that are there in France and Germany exist in Canada today, we hare the same conditions where we have a spiraling out of control inflation, high taxes, and a slowing economy. It can be all turned around, Carney knows this and so did Trudeau. Instead they focused their attention on Trump and blaming him for all of this. Trump does not dictate our domestic policy or the amount of billions of dollars given overseas, nor does he set the amount of money we print or dictate mass immigration policy. All that debt has to be paid back and the only way to pay it is by raising taxes or cutting services. Which of the lesser of two evils do we choose? I choose a third choice and that is to cut the government spending and to show some restraint. See much money wasted by France, Germany, and Canada. The piper has to be paid there is no free lunch.

People on this board often ridicule US laws that permit personal firearms and the right to use them to defend your home. I believe what we see in France and the rest of Europe would not happen with citizenry that have the will and the means to defend themselves.
Really there were no riots in the US.
No looting and burning of many streets and stores.
I think people in the US should look in the mirror first before criticizing any other country.
Not to mention the hundreds of school shootings. Perhaps there wouldn’t be so many gun related killings if every citizen didn’t have such easy access to firearms that can kill hundreds in a matter of minutes.

I'll see your "Murikans are armed to the teeth" and raise you a "Swiss are armed to the teeth".
Switzerland also has mandatory military service for male citizens and each must pass basic firearm safety course.
Perhaps it truly is a mentality problem instead of a gun problem.

Yes, in a well-functioning state that can protect its citizens it is better to ensure that the guns are not freely available keeping them away from crazy people. However, when the sh-t hits the fan and bands of criminals freely roam the streets looting and assaulting people and police stands by doing nothing, I would prefer to have a couple of guns in my house.

Of course it is a mentality problem, no sane person will shoot and kill another unless they are protecting their own life or their families.
The point is that when you have a country that has more guns in the hands of private citizens than all the rest of the world combined then you make it far too easy for so called crazy people to use them.

Many countries had mandatory military service especially during the iron curtain days but ordinary people did not own guns or we’re allowed to have them so no “crazy person” could have the ability to kill literally hundreds of people in a matter of minutes.

You are not going to control the riots in Europe by people having guns. What you need to remember is how bad would it be if these rioters actually had easy access to guns also. You think these rioters would not use them, they would be much more likely to use them than law abiding citizens who would only use it in self defense.
