I'm from the states and will be making my first trip to Montreal this weekend. I absolutely intend to partake in your beautiful women. I've lurked here and the quality of the ladies and the prices are so much better there than here. I have a couple of questions.
1. I assume the prices listed are Canadian dollars. Is that correct? If so, would it be wise to withdraw from an ATM in Montreal? I mean if I bring $260 American and had it to one of the girls, that's quite a tip. Lol
2. I'm trying to decipher the GFE acronym. In the states, for a reputable provider that means DFK, BBJ, DATY and CFS. with no extra tip expected. Is that the same in Montreal?
I appreciate any help and I can't wait to spend the weekend in your city.

Yes to both. When it comes to service YMMV. LFK / DFK really depends on the provider. BBBJ and DATY is always included and so is CFS.

Some SP's have a 1:1 policy and will take the same amount but in USD if you only have this currency, however many of us don't and insist for Canadian money. You have to ask every individual. For all the acronyms you listed, most GFE providers offer all of them without any extra charges :)

Did I read that correctly? Some providers ask Americans to pay in USD? That's a new one to me.
I'd check with your bank to make sure that using a Montreal ATM wouldn't incur charges. For years I've used the Calforex exchange on Rue Peel. It's part of my pre-festivities walk that now includes picking up a little cannabis around the corner on Ste. Catherine Street. I love those anticipatory afternoon strolls....

Definitely exchange to Canadian funds. You don't have to but I found as a noob it was easier to go thru an agency. I've never had an issue going to an incall but if you are not familiar with the city it can be a bit intimidating to have to go to a condo in an unfamiliar city.

If you don't speak French you may want to find an SP who speaks English.

Seems obvious but be respectful and clean.

Enjoy!

Yes some providers do that. I know a few who do and I've seen it on some websites. I think part of the reason is that American providers charge a lot more and a lot of men from the US come to Montreal for cheaper and more generous services. I've heard that American providers tend to have stricter boundaries, but I'm not sure how true that is.
Keeping in mind the obligatory caveat that SPs get to charge what they want, that's absurd! I've never seen that policy. I understand the 1:1 for clients paying in USD, and I'm sympathetic to any current anti-American bias, though we in the US are also paying for the tariffs. But it doesn't make much sense for SPs to charge based on the home location of the client. Should Seattle SPs charge more for clients from Las Vegas? Do those same Montreal SPs charge less for clients from countries that have lower rates than Montreal? It's a non-issue for me since I'd never see an SP who adds a 30% surcharge for US clients, but I do find it somewhat amusing.

Oh I think we misunderstood each other! It's the 1:1 I was talking to meaning if a client brings USD the SP won't do the conversion. Obviously no one will insist on Americans paying more if they bring CAD. I deleted my comment above to avoid further misunderstandings.

Ha! Thanks for clarifying. It makes complete sense for SPs to charge 1:1. They're not a currency exchange!

Most definitely. I feel terrible for you guys with the exchange rate. But I just looked and according to Google today $250 American is $348 Canadian. WOW!
And I'll say one more thing. I'm sorry. I didn't vote for the guy.
I know you’re a new member but you might be wise to keep politics off the Lounge board. Merb can be so refreshing compared to a particular US board.

And yes, Canada is a wonderful, sovereign country. They even have their own currency. Can you believe that? When in Rome….

Pay CAD. It’s more respectful (you’re not a tourist in a Cancun fast house). The transaction and exchange of currency with your lady friend is just more turnkey.

I find *that* rather arrogant on the client’s part. Dude, come prepared and respect the national currency. Don’t expect the SP to run down to the bank for you.
Precisely. You said it more directly than me but I can see why an escort would find it disrespectful.

However, let me show some grace here and mention that I did pay one of the Good Girls (Tessa) in USD on my first Montreal trip way back. She did a double take at the currency (like WTF is this?…lol). In hindsight….stupid me.

Yeah that's my point.. some clients who want a last minute date will say "sorry I didn't have time to go to the bank".. it's disrespectful lol. I've had American clients tip me in USD tho and that was very appreciated.

I'm sure I've made every mistake in the book over the years!
