@Universe knows used that term as a way of explaining how certain things are branded. Meaning there is a category of client who will only see girls who charge a certain rate because in their minds it guarantees a certain level of experience, knowledge, maturity, class etc. and this fits with the type of date they are booking. Obviously this is highly subjective but it's all about what qualities you want to advertise in order to attract the clientele you want. It doesn't necessarily work and from what I've seen that type of branding and reputation takes years to acquire.
This type of branding is strategic and it's not meant to exclude clients who don't belong to a certain social class, it's meant to attract longer bookings in order to have a lower volume of clients, which diminishes health risks (STI, UTI's, yeast infections, covid & other viruses etc) and episodes of burnout.. (mental health consequences) .. That's also one of the reasons why indies tend to have higher rates. We choose to be indies not because we were refused by agencies or parlors, but because we generally don't want to have a very high volume of clients.
