And even if tinder is a hookup app, I’ve met the kindest kinkiest classiest women on it.

I will Say though I did meet my best friend through bumble where it was only suppose to be a one night stand. Haven’t been back on it since.

Why have you been banned?

I don't use dating app but heard often about Hinge.

Often times tinder or bumble will shadow ban people for no reason

If too many people report your account they will ban you. I know I’ve been accused of being a bot a few times and have been accused of stealing photos too

I would always reply with “don’t you think I’d pick someone prettier if I was stealing photos?”

Didn’t seem to be enough to calm them down, they would unmatch me and I suppose report me

I don't know how it works for wormen.

For men, if you're very attractive with a solid profile and good pictures, someone who gets a lot of right swipes, the apps will prioritize your profile and show it to more and more people.

Once you get a few hundred right swipes or 100+ matches in less than 24h, the app will initiate an identity check where you have to submit a selfie with your ID and an actual human checks if you're really the person on the pictures. You're not able to do anything else on the app until you complete the ID process.

I’ve definitely never provided my ID on a dating app

Well were you on these apps looking for a date and/or hook up? Or you are using these apps as another vehicle to SP advertise? Reason for these bans.

All that doom scrolling in hopes of achieving that tiny probability of finding someone.
Too self defeating and soul crushing to boot. Dating apps these days are not to help you find someone as that would be unprofitable.

Best to use that time and go out there and do things that will give you good odds in finding someone. Like consistently showing up to the same yoga studio or join a social fitness club. Oh heck go do something like volunteering at an animal shelter. That is going to guarantee you to find someone.
