I was always kind of uncomfortable with agencies, I understand they can be beneficial in some cases but they're also more likely to involve exploitative situations. I guess I'll stick with indies, this is just another reason.
There's young men that hobby and want someone in that age range.Yeah well, 18 is really young too. If i had an agency (Which will never happen) i would make it 25 +
and now with this article residents will have an extra eye everywhere.
There's young men that hobby and want someone in that age range.
But of course there's also creepy old men that don't care.
I don't think anybody here is happy that girls are being abused or that minors are getting hired by agencies. That’s what you took from that article? Not the fact that women were exploited and that the agency didn’t mind hiring a minor?
You’re just worried that people won’t be able to have fuck-o-thons anymore
It's not a debate... Nobody is debating about "agency vs indy"! We're talking about awful working conditions at agencies. The agency vs indy debate is a bit pointless. Bottom line its about price and convenience for the clients. With an agency you only have to nurture one relationship vs one with each indy who often ask things like references or pictures of IDs. Its a more complicated environment. Prices are also way out there in many cases.
Agencies is what made the hobby interesting. But I see it going the way the US did. If there were no agencies I would do other things, not book an Indy. Agencies kept the rates competitive and there was no complicated booking system, just a simple text was all I needed. This post is spot on.I am not gonna shame people for using agencies, the value proposition is very strong:
1- Most Indys are 30+ very rare to find Indy in her 20
2- pound for pound, Indys charge around double
3- Agencies have multiple choices and if the girl cancels they will make it right, which is a big deal for busy people.
4- they do have an overhead and 80$ an hour cut for agencies seems reasonable (rent, marketing, unhappy customers, transportation)
Police in Canada have very limited ressources. Few people realize this. It can take a lot of time and "convincing" to get your bosses to fund and allocate resources to a given investigation. They prioritize.Le systeme de justice, de police et la bureaucratie
It takes a long time to conduct an investigation like that. I know more than one person who worked at agencies as minors a long time ago. Nobody checked how old they were.Obviously and XO paid dearly for that and other fuck ups.Though I noticed that in the article that this happened in 2017 while the investigation started in 2024. Makes you wonder if that particular allegation has any legs. If yes then why did the cops waited 7 years?
Which is why they launch investigations when they receive complaints. If no complaints then police will not actively be looking for them.Police in Canada have very limited ressources. An agency lady told me that the agency push her with her average and few reviews. They also body shamed her based on one comment. But she has a perfectly fine body ...But I didn't know there were penalties and fees for being late or not going to an appointment. It may lead to coercion.
Or that they only check them when there's a problem. On a lighter note, at least now we know there was no microphones in the units. The agency owners would have realized that the infiltrated agents were not having sex
the agent said she didn't feel well after her last client, this could have been a good enough motive to listen tot the tapesOr that they only check them when there's a problem.
Maybe I am too curious or the lady I saw in a agency was comfortable with me but I did learn most of that rather quickly. Saw her a few times only ...In all due respect, you lack a bit of curiosity.
Reasons to worry go beyond criminal liability. People were arrested and there might be a trial. Who knows what the prosecutors will submit as evidence. We know they have all the numbers and if they are used in the trial they become part of the public recordTo think they will go after phone numbers in XO database is beyond paranoiac, the penalty for the crime of being a "John" is too small to go after guys not caugh "pants down"; from a LE point of view lots of effort for little reward. If this was a pedo ring, then that is a different story
