2 Frustrations

Two things with booking an SP that I find frustrating. The first one may have a solution with some suggestions from here. It's Sp's asking for a deposit. I understand the reasoning but there is no way that I can use my joint bank account to send a deposit for obvious reasons. There must be better secretive ways to send a depo? My second peev is the large numbers of providers asking for a 90min or 2 hour booking as a first time client. Frustrating because I want to book some of these particular SP's but the extra fee is becoming a turn-off with booking them. Seems like poor marketing on the SP's side. Several providers in particular that are of interest have a $300-$350 per hour fee that I am ok with but 1st timers must shell out $500. Do they want a small bunch of one time $500 dates or a large number of regular repeat $350 dates.

I think they get a bunch of regular repeats at 2-4 hours much more than small one time short dates. Hence the offering. Much better for them. Too bad so sad for you.
for deposits. Some offer alternatives. [...]
open up a separate bank account. Do some withdrawals from your joint one. Deposit in second account. Send deposit. Voilà! Problem solved

Pay cash for a gift card to use for the deposit.

I agree with you there, especially if they have a deposit from you already. I guess they decide what rules need to be followed and I can respect that. But there are soooo many other options available in Montreal that I would just look elsewhere.

I've experienced the same frustration in regards to the appointment length. That was years ago and I didn't see the SP. But now if I see an ad that is REALLY REALLY appealing, the SP is exactly how I like and I see nothing but positive reviews I think I'll try. Might be worth it.

For the deposit, don't know what to say because that's something I don't. SPs probably saw two or three girls do that and now it's becoming the norm and I'm not a fan of things that become trendy like that. Like someone said, maybe opening a separate account would be good.

Around the corner
You can buy an Amazon gift card in a pharmacy or supermarket (Or any other if they prefer) and send a photograph of the code on the back with email or text as a deposit, most will accept that.
Photo ID no way will I give that to someone I don’t know.

As far as 1.5 and 2 hr first meetings as long as people are willing to pay it and they have enough clients doing it it is more lucrative for them so why not. Personally I prefer them anyway so that doesn’t bother me.
What kind of ticks me off are the ones that ask a deposit every time even once they know you.
I will do it once but each time, no way, that is just a total waste of time, and trust has to work both ways, if I cancel within 24 hours for any reason I will pay them the full amount my word is worth more than a couple of hundred bucks.

There are plenty that don’t require any deposit just a reference and most agencies don’t require anything except a phone number so why be frustrated.

As a matter of principle, I never leave any deposit. I know guys can cancel, but it's part of the risks of doing business. Can you imagine if you had to leave a deposit for every professional you book? You lawyer, your dentist?

But there is a second reason: It's a way for the girl to test you. If you accept this, what other dirty trick from her are your going tu put up with? (e.g. demanding 2h minimum for a first meeting?) Doesn't make me want to fuck her anyway ...

Lastly; if too many people accept to give deposits, we're screwed guys. They are all going to do this.

So guys, please don't. There are very good, pretty and skilked professionals who don't ask these. Give them good business.

I don't like and I try to avoid the interac transfer or id/linkedin because they force me to use my real name. I prefer to see SPs under my hobby name.

I can't trust most SPs with that kind of info. What if their phone is lost or stotlen then whoever finds it starts blackmailing the SP's contacts/clients?

Exactly but also I do not know their real name or even got their real personal cell #. Why should I give my personal info to them? And blackmailing clients is also something that can happen.
