The Panarin-Shesterkin Show will be in Montreal Tuesday night. You guys shouldn't miss it. The Rangers have won 3 straight road games to begin a season for the first time in 92 years; 4 straight would be a new team record. Hasn't been done.

In addition, LaFreniere has points in each of the Rangers first 5 games and would like to see this continue in Montreal.

Hey guys I was just watching Flyeers-Capitals live on ESPN and there was a tremendous fight between McIlrath of the Capitals and Deslauriers of the Flyers. Both guys landed major, hard punches to the head and Deslauriers was bloodied. Each player got 5 minute majors. Deslauriers has amassed 215 penalty minutes over the last 2 season, and is certainly no stranger to the penalty box, but looked like McIlrath tagged him with some good shots. Check out the highlights later it was a wild fight between 2 teams that like to take off the gloves.

Trouba deserved a 5 minutes for a clear hit to the head on Barron, gets away with it and then, as Matheson goes to have a chat with him, Trouba drops the gloves first but Matheson gets the instigator and the misconduct!

The way i saw it Trouba delivered a legal hit. I felt it was somewhat dirty considering the score of the game & late in the third period. But it appeared legal. Barron is as much at fault on that play for admiring his pass & his lack of awareness. As for the penalties called on Matheson they were by the book. He indeed was the instigator for starting the fight on what the refs saw as a legal check & that’s what he got the two minutes & the game misconduct for. The problem is s same play isn’t being called often enough by the officials. They should be more consistent. By the way i don’t blame Matheson for the retaliation. This showed guts & leadership & considering that the game was lost anyway the penalties incurred were well worth it.

Now it looks like Barron will likely be out for a while (I suspect) so Arber Xehkaj will likely be re-inserted into the lineup. As far as i know, that is. Georges Laracque said yesterday on his radio show that he wouldn’t be surprised if he demands a trade considering his lack of ice time under coach St-Louis. This rumor may not be a good one for Wifi since St-Louis won’t appreciate being shown up & making it appear like he’s being pressured to play him or having Xehkaj appear like he may be manipulating the media to his advantage. But of this is the case i’m certain that Gorton-Hughes-St-Louis will be ahead of the curve & may want to teach the kid another lesson. So my prediction is that if he continues to be benched or possibly sent to Laval this is the case. If he plays then all of this will have been pure speculation.

This Arber really seems like a prideful kind of guy but over what? What exactly has he done in the league so far except prove he can rack up PIM with the best?

November 30th ;)
That is a Saturday afternoon game on Thanksgiving weekend..........I might just be there!!!!! Traditionally it is a huge SHOPPING weekend in NYC with Black Friday sales. The train will be packed, but it will not be my first Thanksgiving weekend spent in NYC. As a matter of interest that area around MSG, and particularly the Empire State Building, draws big crowds that weekend.
