Yes, mostly gifts... I'm not a collector... I buy things I use, not display... some of those things happen to be high end...
I don't wear jewelry very often, so I'm not a Chopard or Van Cleef & Arpel person... :lol: But yes, I do wear some of the items on special occasions... a bit flashy for me normally though.Some of them you ware ?

I'm not rich by any means, but I do have some very nice things. I don't really care to show my financial success (or lack thereof) by what I wear. I'm a white collar guy with a blue collar mentality, :lol: And while I have friends in Tokyo, Paris, Monte Carlo, NYC and many other wealthy cities of the world, I don't share their lifestyle very often.Signature items you ware to show financial success .
Anyhow only the well informed persons actually knows the value of them

Well in Vancouver where my principal residence is all young Asian Ladies trust fund kids have LV and Hermes ,.
LV bags are more common here than Michael Kors bags in Montreal. Pornstar and civilians carry them around like they were bought at the local discount store... they are so played out that no one notices them anymore. High end is relative here... some things are very common in fashion hubs like LA and NYC.

Typical scenario here is young girl carrying $1500 dollar LV bag, $400 Dior/Gucci/Prada sunglasses, $300 True Religion jeans (before, played out now) leaving the mall in her $18K Jetta... I wonder if she even has the cash in the amount of her jeans in her Gucci wallet?? Not likely... See and be seen is great for some... you can take any tramp, dress her in nice clothes and jewelry, and she's still a tramp, albeit a well-dressed one... :lol:
I have a different philosophy... I'm not one to tell someone how to spend their money... they can buy whatever they can "afford"... but I feel that only a certain type of person can rock certain items and make the clothes/jewelry work, not the other way around...
