Maybe I am getting suspicious and paranoid, but I am beginning to think that there is a lot of fluff in hobbyland and what you see is not always what you get or can get.

The post by Sexy Nadya on their debutant Britney looks very enticing. Called up Nadya "personally" within minutes after the post came out and what sounded like a male voice (most likely not Nadya, at least I hope not) answered and told me that Britney is fully booked for the day. Oh, well.

Now I am beginning to wonder if Britney is real or she is actually working today, or whether this is just a marketing ploy to increase web traffic and phone calls to get potential bookings to spill over to other ladies. I have no reason to think that Sexy Nadya VIPs is not a legitimate outfit even though I have not dealt with them before.

What would really kill my conspiracy theory is if a review comes out on Britney from a credible Merbite.

Actually, Britney was mentioned within the Sexy Nadya`s post announcing Marie-Ève one full week ago (01-23-2011 09:19 PM)

A new Annoucement will also be made tomorrow !

So if she gets fully booked by the time the specific day in question arrives, then they shouldn't post up her photos in the ad section for that specific day, making it seem like she is available. Unless of course they post her availability for the rest of the week, then that would entitle a pass on my behalf.

I do recall the new lady being announced last wk as well.... guess RobinX linked the proof. It does "appear" that Nadya's has certain ladies who have a limited work schedule. If true, good for them for pacing their new staff.

Overall I do agree there's smoke + mirrors going on to make agencies + ladies alike look very busy. It just makes us want to rush to the closest phone can call. Of course many regular hobbyists know this is a dead time of yr, new SP's sign up for the job like ants to a picnic after the Holidays so there's bound to be lots of agencies with ladies sitting around watchin' paint dry.

I have no reason to doubt that Britney is real. However, i'd be weary of seeing her for the simple fact that she's from the States. American sps don't exactly have glowing reviews when compared to their Canadian cousins.

It also wouldn't surprise me that she was indeed fully booked, even though she was still listed on the site as being available. This has happened many times with other agencies when they post a popular (especially one who rarely works) as being available. It can be frustrating when you call immediately when the schedule comes out & you're being told that she's already fully booked up.

I've always wondered why agencies bother keeping so-and-so listed when she's not even available if you want to see her. Since i was the one who came up with the idea that agencies start posting their schedules on this site, i'll suggest another one: regular update your postings. If a girl is fully booked up, take her off the schedule. If so-and-so is only available after midnight, replace the "available at 8pm" listing to "available after midnight". It would save everyone a lot of time & trouble.

Wow, Britney is gorgeous. Thanks for bringing her to my attention, despite the reason why.

It might seem a bit odd that she would be fully booked so close to the time of the first posting. But that depends on how much time she wanted to work that night, and how much time the first caller was willing to pay for. So I can see how you might just miss out. Being just one lady for one night at least there's some logic to what happened.

Now just imagine calling an agency where the owner told me personally no pre-bookings were allowed, calling at the opening of business right on time or within a few minutes and being told three ladies were fully booked for an entire week...and having it happen on five to six straight occasions widely spread over two years. I'll spare the agency the use of it's name since it's now very old news. But to say that situation is suspicious...well...call it the "Magic Booking Theory"...lol.

Guys are usually so worked up they`ll take one of the back-ups, which is a big NO-NO! It`s gotta be Golden Rule #3, "Never Go for an agency`s back-up girl if your 1st choice isn`t there... UNLESS the back-up girl IS on your TDL."

Generally I'd agree with you. You know there are exceptions to every generality. There once was a MILF called Christine of Orlando that still ranks in my 10 ATF's. She ended up marrying one of her clients and to the best of my knowledge lived happily ever after. What a fun and entertaining LADY!!

That's not what I said. I was talking about girls being posted six or seven nights a week, week after week. They are, indeed, available, but many nights they're just not getting any bookings at all so they're not really working as hard as it would appear. I got this from a girl who told me she was on 6 nights a week, but only getting 3-4 bookings a week. Do you notice how a few agencies are posting three times a day, even as late as 11 PM. That's their way of advertising how dead they are.

Also, this business is like any other. 80% of the business is done with 20% of the inventory. Certain girls are booked for the entire night within 30 minutes of being posted, while others may go the entire night with nothing. A couple of good reviews by known posters are worth their weight in gold, just as a bad review from a known entity can do tremendous damage. It certainly behooves an agency to keep a girl on the available roster even after she's booked as it affords the booker the opportunity to try to get you to try someone else for their agency.

Passive B&S, maybe, but it is also called Smart Marketing whether any of us agree with it or not, but it is what it is. Bottom line is a business survives by making money, and this business is not the most ethical one in the world.

Another thing I have noticed is alot of agencies will make the normal first post of the day between 4-7pm, then an update after 9/10pm, then a late night/early morning post simply to advertise the agency, since Merb now allows agencies and indy's to post 3 instead of 2 advertisements per day, after craigslist went down. If they have available 3 ads per day, why not take advantage of them, whether busy or slow? Smart business, smart marketing.

You will get in the showroom because you saw the ad, you will ask for the car in the ad, they will say sorry we don't have it now and they will show you another one. If you want the one in the ad you saw 5 minutes ago, they will get it to you at some point but not now.

That's Bait n Switch by definition and the dealership can be fined if they advertise stock they don't have/never had or are found to have insufficient inventory relative to their advertisig efforts. There's a reason why a number of laws against B&S practices exist in the real world.

In the hobby, you get fucked... get to fuck, but still feel fucked and there's nothing you can do unless you can gain control of your little head and walk away.

So the difference, agencies know they have carte blanc in this industry because any client worth the coin they make can't be bothered to complain, and there's always another horny idiot around the corner for the agencies to put that stuff on...

This is exactly what got me ticked off. Her incall availability on Sunday was announced at 9:13 AM on the same Sunday morning, and she is fully booked within minutes? Are there that many Merbites lurking around on a Sunday morning? Something just does not make sense for me.

But I'll disagree for the POV of regular hobbyists... because once a regular tunes in, the lying is exposed and then u wonder what else is the agency lying about.

For walk up customers, I suppose "we're all booked up" is the best answer to give.
