I'm not currently partnered but I've never cheated in my entire life. I'd rather work through problems or break up. I'm not a perfect individual and I don't always have the best conflict resolution skills but I try my best to maintain positive and healthy relationships with people I'm close to.
But I understand that for people of a different generation who have children and a long & complicated history with their partner, it's not that simple..
