Barack Obama now stands with Presidents Franklin Roosevelt and Lyndon Johnson for his historic achievement in bringing social justice to the US and bringing the US in line with the rest of the civilized world. In fact, what Obama achieved yesterday may rank higher than Roosevelt's Social Security Act and Johnson's Medicare Act. Both prior presidents passed their bills with considerable Republican opposition, but without the total obstructionism and campaign of fear and lies which Obama had to overcome.
Obama's place in history and his re-election are both now assured. Here are a couple of links:
