Let me see if I have an understanding of the word now.... Now, to you, means one game, right, rumps? If the Yanks were to offer up a trade to the red sox for Mariano now, would the red sox think after one game that Mariano is now not any good therefore they would not want him now? Take off the red sox blinders rumps, and now you can see clearly. Now isnt that better buddy? Mariano usually has a few blown saves per season, he is just getting them outta the way early on so when crunch time comes, he will be lights out like usual.

All i can say is WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought Iggy was mistaken when i first saw his post.....but 10-0 ???? What has become of the once-mighty Red Sox? The team that couldn't lose....THE BEST TEAM EVAH!!!

Now the big question is: "How long will IN BEN WE TRUST tolerate the circus that Bobby V has brought to Fenway Park?"

Another question: "Is Josh Beckett seriously injured? Will he be able to last the season?" Oh my!!!!!!

True story, I was driving home this early evening, from a wonderful time at a loft in Le Plateau of a gorgeous young lady, when I checked todays scores on my cell and could not believe what i was seeing. (but thrilled none the less)

About your ?'in Doc, as soon as I saw the score, my first thought was is Beckett really hurt worse than they are saying? I'd have to say I believe thats a big "Thumbs Up"

Might there be a hint of a "review" :confused:in that commentary? Do tell maestro...we are all dying to hear...

Yes sir...only consolation for Sox fans in these early days of the season is that the yankees are just as bad...:thumb:.

The way he is going Joe, Mr.Melancon will be lucky to make it to Memorial Day! (or quite possibly, the end of next week)

Red Sox not off to a good start, Mark Melancon to be DFA'd by the All Star break?.

Haha.... end of May bro. Hughes looked pretty good today, made a cpl mistakes but has definately got his arm strength back from last year. I am a big fan of rookie David Phelps, he has good mechanics and make up and a nice easy delivery and can throw strikes. Looked great in his first game ever in the bigs today in a pressure situation. Needs to pitch more tho, and he won the long reliever job in spring training so he could go back and forth to Scranton if he has a bad outing or 2 in a row, but he looks to have big league talent for sure.
I'm not American so I don't know when is Memorial day, is it tomorrow?:D

There is panic all over the internet on Red Sox message boards already, here is a quote from one of the boards that I completely agree with.

"The Yankees look like a good team that had a rough series.

The Red Sox look like a team with half an offense and very serious questions up and down their pitching staff."

Yea, I'm not at all worried about the Yankees, CC had a couple bad innings, Mariano is human afterall, Kuroda had 2 runs by way of error and needs to settle down, I am sure he was nervous with a new team and a new league and all. The hitting will come around, Yanks are fine. The red sox will hit, but yea I would be worried about that pitching staff for sure. Now that I said that, watch Bard throw a no hitter, lol.

...and then go right to the pen to start closing where he belongs...

Now, what about that review you teased us with...?
