I haven't had too much pizza in Montreal; I usually pig out on smoked meat sandwiches, which I can't get in other cities.

But I did enjoy the pizzas from Aldo's on Parc.

Santa Lucia

Santa Lucia on Stanley serves a very solid pizza. They also deliver for free to the Sheraton, which is on the same block.

Would a "very solid" pizza be overcooked?

Little Italy

Just go to Little Italy and experiment. Depending on the toppings you like there are many winners.

I keep hearing about 99-cent pizza, but I've never seen one.

Why don't they have any downtown locations?

I also have to try Al-Taib one of these days.

We allready had a thread about this.

I will repeat what I wrote before :

Pizzeria Napoletana on Dante St. in the "Petite Italie"

189, rue Dante
Montréal, QC H2S 1K1
Téléphone: 514-276-8226

And it's a place were you can bring your wine.

No reservation accepted, and often a big line-up to wait

Napoletana wins hands down. This is a must if you at all like pizza - we're not talking Dominos, real authentic thin-crust italian pizza. BTW, the pasta is also amazing and as good as anywhere else. Bring real wine, its worth it. BTW theres an SAQ a couple of streets over that stocks great selection of Italian wines.

Makeit

Pizza Napoletana has definitely among the best authentic Italian Pizzas in Mtl.
Great suggestion.

Also:
I kinda liked Pendeliz Pizza (One near Outremont, another one in Laval).
Not the authentic Italian Pizza, but very savourish ;p

Mind you, in Quebec, one of my all time favourite Pizza Place is outside Mtl, In Lachute. I just can't remember the name...put it's actually Lachute's most popular place for Pizzas...so easy to find.

I miss Pizza Hut whenever i'm in Mtl. I always call them first whenever i look at the yellow pages just in case they might have changed their policy & deliver downtown. Still no luck.

Pizza Hut..another all time favourite.
They used to be at the summum of their art couple of years ago (I remember the Pizzas they used to send me around 8/9 years go....that was awesome Pizza...nowadays, it's still good...just not as awesome as it was back in the days...But I agree with you Doc Holliday, they are good).

As funny as it sounds, I am addicted to Domino's Brooklyn-style pizza.

I'll have to see if Domino's in Montreal has it.

Let's say that i don't have any wheels to go & pick-up my pizza, is there any other way to get it delivered to my room? Taxi? Bribing the bellhop by giving him $20 if he goes & fetches me the pizza? The maid? How about i call an agency & tell them to stop & pick-up a pizza for me at Pizza Hut when they're ready to send the girl over?

lol. Doc Holliday, talking about this...I am sure that Fred of Excentrix would do it (pick-up a pizza for me at Pizza Hut when they're ready to send the girl over)...:D The guy seem to be really ready for anything in order to please his customers.

Elio's on Bellechasse just west of St. Denis
and
Miss Jean Talon on JT a few streets east of L'Acadie.

These are my two favorites.
