My first date
A nice caucasian middle-aged lady contacted me Wednesday afternoon and inquired on my availabilty to go out with her for dinner. She told me a lady friend of hers had told her about this thread and since she was recently divorced, she felt like going out for a no-strings attached dinner with a middle-aged gentleman who was only interested in making a bit of money, enjoy a good meal and good company. She added that she was not looking for sex.
I must admit that i was sceptical, but kept an open mind. We texted one another throughout the following day and decided to meet up at a designated rendez-vous point in Old Montreal. She had given me a choice of restaurants and i chose Gibby's, which i had never been to. It turned out to be a wonderful choice.
I wore dressed pants with a shirt and tie in order to impress my dinner date. It was understood beforehand that the dinner date would be for two hours minimum at my pre-set hourly rate. It was also understood beforehand that she would be picking up all dinner expenses and that i'd be reimbursed for my cab fare from and back to my hotel. In return i'd provide great company, make her laugh and make her feel great about herself, promising her that she wouldn't be hearing from me again unless she decided in the future to take me out again under the same conditions.
She had made reservations at the restaurant and i was surprised at how enjoyable the atmosphere was. We had a very good time and enjoyed one another's company discussing various wordly topics. She drank Perrier while i drank Coors Light. I wound up having three of them throughout the evening. As far as our meals went, she had lobster tails while i ate on of my favorites, swordfish. We ate some bread prior to the arrival of our respective meals and we both chose the Gibby's salad as our choice of entree.
Once our meals were over, we both declined to order dessert since we were both fairly stuffed. We both ate some type of white pudding afterwards which she told me was called 'sorbet'. It supposedly was included with the meals we had. The restaurant was rather packed throughout the evening and she could not have chosen a better spot for our first date together. As she had agreed to beforehand, she picked up the bill which came up to a total of $122.51 plus gratuity. Including tip, it came up to $140.00. And since she offered to drive me back to my hotel, i voided the entire transportation costs. On my way out of her suv, she paid me what she owed me for my time (i did not insist on a tip) and we hugged, kissed, hugged, kissed and hugged again before i stepped out of her suv. I then went up to my room to change clothing and then headed downtown to meet up with friends.
My first paid date was a tremendous success! I'm really hoping that my first client choses to repeat. I have a good feeling that she enjoyed herself as much as i did and will want to repeat, since she texted me later that evening to thank me and asked me when i'd be in town next.
It's confirmed: The Doc is the cheapest & best dinner date in town! You'll never get better value for your hard-earned money!
