For a start they move the grocery store since last year and its not really reachable on foot anymore. So its not like i can go daily and all. When i go i need to pack a lot and use the freezer.
Secondly i REALLY don't like cooking, like at all. so its an issue for me.
But yes i know technically fresh food would be better . But i saw sponsors on youtube that do seem healthy even tough pre made
I get it, it's not convenient. But how far are we talking, really? Once a week doable? Any delivery options? Farmers market nearby? Can you hitch a ride with someone doing their groceries? These are solvable problems. And hell yeah, use that freezer you’re already paying for it.
Not liking cooking? That’s something you’ll need to push through. Maybe it’s because you’re not confident at it, which is normal. But if you want long-term health, processed or restaurant food won’t cut it. You’d be shocked how much salt, sugar, butter and garbage goes into “tasty” meals. They’re designed to make you crave more, not fuel your body.
Also, be real careful with sponsored stuff online. They’re paying to reach someone just like you. Even if it’s healthy, it’s probably 2-3x the price of making it fresh yourself.
Change is always hard. You can lose weight eating wraps again, but the second you stop, you’re back where you started. Learning to cook, even just a few meals pays off forever. That’s a skill no one can take away.
Not trying to lecture, just adding to the pile of people here who give enough of a damn to help.
Just my 2 cents.
PS. Besides junk, what food do you actually enjoy? If price didn’t matter, what would you order at a nice restaurant?
