All these “protests” often used as an excuse for looting is a terrible disservice to the black community. It is disgusting when a long time criminal and a drug abuser is elevated to the level of martyr on par with Martin Luther King. This girl expresses it very well:

You do know that a single black woman doesn't speak for every black person and that a YouTube video is a worse source than wiki right?

"This girl " is despised in the black community. In no way does she represent the vast majority of black women, who are rightfully so, considered the backbone of the Democratic party. They are the main reason why Doug Jones got elected to Alabama's Senate. Yes, i did say Alabama.
There is Owens and Diamond&Silk.
I cant think of any other prominent black woman rooting for the Birther in Chief.
Little reminder: 4% of black women voted for Trump in 2016.
Need I say more ?
One Owens = 90 sisters.

A classical method to transfer discussion to something else when you can not argue with the main thesis. We are not discussing Trump here, no the democratic party. What I said is that is not right to make George Floyd a national hero only because he was killed by the police. He was a criminal and a despicable person. Yes, policemen are guilty for using excessive force and need to be persecuted. But it is not the reason to celebrate the life of a criminal and making him a national symbol.

That's my opinion.
When I was younger I didn't think like I do now.

That said, any wrongdoing deserves to be punished, whether by a white or black man. It's also clear that in our neighbors to the south there is a serious systemic racial problem. It has been around for centuries, and there with the events in Minneapolis we have an opportunity to make a difference, and this opportunity is called George Floyd.

I agree with you, he isn't a man without reproach, but neither is he a man who was wanted by the FBI.
By cons or I don't agree with you, this is your last sentence. It's easy to judge, we don't know how our life was, would we have done better? Anyway, whether he was a low-level thief or a respectable man, he was black.
We celebrate the life of a black man who was killed for stealing $20.

I would like to see the beavers take on this. I was under the impression that states have to request the president to use military. I could be wrong.

I'm speechless that Trump referred to George Floyd on Friday's labor report where the unemployment rate came in lower than expected.

"Hopefully George is looking down right now and saying this is a great thing that's happening for our country "

"It's a great day for him (George)"

With him I am always speechless.
He talks about him every day on the news.
Since the start of these elections, there has not been a day that I have been able to regain my voice.

No, no, Trump never makes a mistake, it's us who don't understand.

For him only one thing counts his re-election, no matter what happens in his country.
He will always try to pull the blanket from his side.

The protests have spread worldwide, and look at this, in the UK protesters tossed a statue of slave trader Eddy Colston into the Bristol Harbor:

Right, the next will be all statues of our Founding Fathers that were slave owners. We also need to reprint our money ASAP and put some neutral animals (not carnivores!) instead of their pictures. What else, Washington DC and Washington state need to be re-named using some old native landmarks. But this is just the beginning. Eventually all white people need to be relocated back to Europe leaving land to the descendants of First Nations. Black people need to be moved back to Africa, Chinese to China and so on. And Egypt must pay reparations to Jews as we all know they were enslaved by the ancient Egyptians. Slowly but surely mankind will repair all injustice happened in the world down to the Stone Age.

I have a better idea. Egypt can transport two of the Pyramids to Israel at its expense. They can keep the big one as a concession. The other two can be transported somewhere outside of Jerusalem so the Jews can enjoy the fruits of their labors.
