I'm kind of undecided on this one. First off, a person shouldn't put themselves in that kind of a situation. Let them handcuff you and arrest you, fight them in court. And yes, the system will be against you, but at least you'll be alive or able to walk. Secondly, how did the cops not put the man into custody long before he was able to walk all the way around the car and open the drivers door? Police deal with people resisting arrest all the time. They can be high, anger issues, or just dangerous so it's important to subdue that person as quickly as possible. Not wait for them to open the door and reach into their car and then decide to use deadly force. So a person, any person, should never put themselves in that kind of situation, and the officers can't just let him walk around the car like that and open his door. Easy for me to make these comments not having to make split second life and death decisions but this incident didn't need to happen.
