Look behind you.
You do know that Doc loves to bend the truth....you do know ?

Pardon! Embelishment is a kinder word, I was guessing it was the persona he was that day/week plus getting a thread more interesting if it starts to die off.
Personally I need to keep off these political threads, in the west with my fellow conservatives my blood pressure is way down compared to here.

Cubans say goodbye to Fidel Castro's ashes in four-day funeral procession

Caravan carrying leader’s remains will retrace his victory tour after Cuban Revolution in reverse, from Havana to Santiago, in final leg of mourning period

Fidel Castro’s ashes have begun a four-day journey across Cuba from Havana to their final resting place in the eastern city of Santiago.

A small, Cuban-flag-covered cedar coffin containing the remains of the 90-year-old leader was taken out of Cuba’s defense ministry just after 7am and placed into a flower-bedecked trailer pulled by a green military jeep for the more than 500-mile (800km) procession. The ashes will be interred on Sunday, ending the nine-day mourning period for the man who ruled the country for nearly 50 years.

The route traces in reverse the victory tour Castro and his bearded rebels took after overthrowing the forces of strongman Fulgencio Batista in 1959.

My mothers side was from east Germany, when I was younger we would visit and it was not a fun time, as soon as you crossed the border soldiers with guns would board the train, things were tense from the moment we entered east Germany. My last trip 8 years ago we went through the Ukraine and Bulgaria and when women found out we were from Canada it would have been easy to get laid every night just for the fact that they may get a chance to leave and come to Canada. Money had a little to do with it but the main reason they turned tricks was to get away by either saving money of finding a sugar daddy. Been to Cuba but never hobbied there, like the beaches, food sucks, local people are depressed there.

Then you must have stayed in a dump, the food there is no better or worse than any other place in the Caribbean.

Conservatives want to become rich due to hard work, Liberals want to become rich from others hard work. And before someone gets their panties in a knot, not " all " but a high majority.

That's like saying that all fat people are lazy, they are the most vilafied type of people , I hear it all of the time from everybody that "fat people are lazy ass slobs and that is why they are fat", I have a friend who says that all of the time whenever he sees a a fat person, if a day goes by with him not insulting a fat person it is because he did not see a fat person that day, he is very annoying and way out of line but that is his mentality and the way he thinks towards fat people and he is not alone, just saying.

May the devil accord him the same treatment that he gave to his people.
Good riddance to a deplorable murderous commie tyrant, he can finally join his Russian brothers of the past.
An exodus of refugees from hell will be heading to Florda soon.

So i gather you're not going to attend his funeral? ;)

They say he had $900 million stashed away, but how much of that did he enjoy?

My friend from Cuba was telling me this afternoon that he has $600 Million in Swiss Banks. Jalimon is right on with his assessment. Just like Animal Farm. Some animals are more equal than others.

Well, he's been in power for a long time and did a very good job. So what can i say? He's earned every penny? Being president of a country is a hard job!

I actually saw her only 9 times.

My record with one sp is 26 times. It would have been more than that, but she retired 3 years ago. She married one fucking lucky bastard!

By the way, i still haven't changed my mind in regards to Fidel Castro: he wasn't any worse than many American Presidents (Bush 43, Nixon) and especially many other world leaders that were and are still supported by the United States.
Castro was responsible for 1/5 of his country's population becoming exiled.
Castro was responsible for thousands of killings of political opponents. Thousands more tortured and jailed.
Castro was responsible for creating miserable economic conditions, systemic poverty and shortages of basic goods including medicine.
Castro was responsible for stifling free speech, thought, assembly and movement.
May he rot in hell.

If you think that is not worse than Nixon or Bush Jr then you are completely delusional.

But the North American Do-gooder is a self-loathing delusional animal. He (or she) hates thine self. This is white guilt. It is very fashionable and trendy on campuses and in Washington DC. You may even get invited to a garden party.

A true leftist would sell off all that he owns because, after all, these worldly goods were obtained off the backs of the colored races. Sell all Doc and donate the proceeds to charity. Free yourself from what haunts you. Live off welfare and handouts.

The great Fidel Castro's funeral will be held tomorrow. I wish i could have attended the funeral of this great leader, but i couldn't get time off to attend. Leaders from around the world will be flocking to Cuba for the mass. Sure, El Presidente had his detractors and with good reason. However, he was also beloved by many. He will be missed. A friend of Canada is a friend of mine!

Long live the great Fidel Castro!!! Long live El Presidente! Long live Cuba!!!

The worst thing that could ever happen to Cuba is for the Americans to get more involved in that country. Americans have a knack of fucking up every country they insert themselves in. Last year when we heard that the US would resume diplomatic ties with Cuba, my fellow Canadians all said: "Oh-oh. The Americans are gonna fuck it up again!"

The Castro brothers were very successful in their attempts to keep the Americans out. The Americans were pissed when he deposed their very own dictator (Batista) in the late 50's. Batista did as many atrocities as any other dictator, yet the Americans loved him because he was a 'friend' of theirs. But after trying to assassinate Castro several times, he finally turned to the Soviets for support and protection. The Americans have only themselves to blame for their failure to maintain relations with Cuba. Had they welcomed El Presidente with open arms earlier on instead of trying to kill him over and over, many Cubans wouldn't have had to suffer as much. The Americans have no one else but themselves to blame for what Fidel Castro became.

Long live El Presidente! Long live Cuba!

What is the age distribution in Cuba?

He has been in power so long most of the population have known nothing but Castro's Cuba.
Young people will not remember the mass executions or internment (concentration) camps. Young people will not have any first hand knowledge of pre revolutionary Cuba. And they will not have visited any foreign countries.

They will mourn him because they do not understand what he took from them.

Every strong leader has tough decisions to make. But El Presidente had the gonads to make them, popular or not. And that's why he's a legendary historical figure.

So was Hitler, Stalin, Lenin, he will fit right in with them historically, like peas in a pod.

Lenin was a great guy!!! A great man, a legendary figure historically!!

Hitler & Stalin, not so nice!! Hitler was responsible for the killing of millions of innocents!! Millions!!!

Stalin wasn't much better. He was a psychopath!! But let's be fair about one thing: Were it not for Stalin, we might not have been able to defeat Hitler. He was a great ally of ours during WWII and as difficult as it is to say: were it not for him, we may be all speaking German today.
