. And in the CFL, no fair catch rule so Taylor would have gotten destroyed on the play I will post below.

I was at an Ottawa game when the US had two teams playing here, not sure which team it was but the kick returner motioned for a fair catch and just got smashed, the crowd and announcer cringed at that hit.

I am watching the Grey Cup game between Calgary and Ottawa, on an unplayable field in Edmonton. Seems like Calgary has an unfair home province advantage. I saw Calgary return a punt for TD just before half. I saw 4 missed tackles (the last a pathetic attempt by punter) and the Calgary PR waltzed 99 yards untouched.

Good halftime show by Alessia Cara.

I know it does not compare to the NFL but still cheap entertainment. Esks lost their starting QB to BC, Montreal got sold to the CFL, Sask lost their coach to Cleveland, Edmonton had a record 50/50 two years ago at $337,000.00.
No overpriced players with cheap tickets available.

Esks pounded BC last night, was worried after the first quarter but they came back and won, sacked the shit out of Reilly.

Would agree it's a whole new ALS team playing out there...much more enthusiasm with Adams at the elm!...they're sending a message and that's good for the CFL!

Too bad......ALS were dominant and playing well UNTIL they lost Adams with injury late in the game---seems commotion cérébrale---Pipkin not able to complete the work....so they lost in ot 27-24 on a fumble...bad play...let"s hope Vernon will b back ASAP....

The Eskimos played well last night, beating the Argos is nothing to beat your chest about but for the Esks a road win is a road win, something they had trouble with last year. Sucker da blue, they played well.
Anyways, hope to see them in the Cupe du Grey this year.

Oh wow...good question...in CFL we never know....still soon..in Eastern Hamilton seem alone 6-2....Western Division...still a very tight race among 4 of the 5 teams.... if i had to bet would go for Edmonton cause of the quality of their QB Trever Harris.....and you STN what do you think?

I heard that Darian Durant, the former Aloutte QB, retired as a CFL player. I was saddened to hear this. I met him a few years ago when he was all alone having dinner at the bar at Deville Diner-bar on Stanley. We had a long and open chat about football and I bought him a few drinks. He was a pretty good CFL QB for his career but the Als caught him in his last year when he didn’t perform very well nor did the team. Who replaced him at QB?

Durant was a heck of good QB...he played 11 years for Riders--Saskat. and won 2 Grey Cup.....BUT here in Montréal things did not go well for him....so after him it was a total mess here in Montréal.....Antonio Pipkin --the favorite--was part of a pool of 6 QB..yes 6...with Drew Willy--Jeff Mathews--Matthew Shiltz-the unforgettable Johnny Manziel and finally Vernon Adams. ...actually Pipkin----not good at all---is the second to Vernon Adams who is surprisingly doing well....we will see but he looks good .
