Christmas Spirit

Are you in the Christmas spirit yet? What is it that puts you in the spirit?
This year I have yet to find it but I expect it to arrive soon once I get out and do some xmas shopping. Usually I gripe about the assault of xmas music everywhere, but can't say I've heard much this year and maybe that is what is missing, or it might be that there just aren't any Salvation Army Christmas kettles in my area. The sound of bells ringing and sight (and of course making a donation) used to really get me in the spirit. Hey, I think I just solved my own problem I'll call up the sallyanne and volunteer to work a kettle.

I just banged Vicky Vix, that certainly put me in the Christmas spirit! That was the truth, review to be posted shortly. But getting back on point, with the whole shopping experience being a battle to get a parking spot, stores being jam packed wth inconsiderate shoppers, and the lack of cold weather (I'm from NYC), this year has been a struggle for me to get into the spirit. What get's me in the spirit is to reach out to the young and the old and feed off of their energy. The young are still facinated by Santa Clause and the suprise of receiving gifts on Christmas. The old are great for their vast life experiences and amazing stories of Christmas past. Tis the spirit of giving, the young and old are very enthusiastic to give so much that it absolutely puts me in the Chistmas spirit. Personally, I set up the Christmas tree, watch a Christmas Carol, pour a nice glass of wine, and reflect on just how good we really have it. That's what I do to get in the spirit.
