Quite ironic to hear the dean of a review board saying he thinks that "this whole review thing is somewhat ridiculous".
I agree it is ironic. But let me use an example:
When i was 27 years old, i had sex with a girl named Pauline. After leaving our motel room & dropping her off at her folks, i headed home. Imagine if i would have headed to my computer & decided to write about it:
"Last night, i went to the disco & noticed a tall brunette staring at me on the dance floor. I later approached her & asked her if I could buy her a drink. We went dancing together & eventually wound up going to a motel. The sex was unbelievable. After we undressed one another, we french-kissed like two horny teenagers and she then decided to go down & sucked my cock dry. I later returned the favor & licked her very wet (and urine-smelling) pussy, getting her to climax. She then begged me to fuck her mercifully and i first entered her in the missionary position, then we spooned, only to end in a furious, ass-slapping doggy. When i told her that i was about to cum, she told me she wanted me to cum in her mouth. I came, and came, and came!! OMG!!!
My numbers out of a scale of 10: 7-8-9.
The following day, people i knew who saw my review called me a prick & and asshole. Many wondered if i wasn't nuts or something. They wanted to force me to visit a shrink. I received anonymous death threats. Of course, Pauline was told by an acquaintance of ours that i had posted our sex escapade on a website. She was furious!!! She threatened me with a lawsuit & requested that i retract the 'review' and insisted on a public apology. Needless to say, i never saw Pauline again. I wonder why?
Of course, the event(s) described above are fictional. But maybe it'll help put some light on my prior statements. Imagine if sps would be allowed to post reviews of us. I guarantee you that the large majority of merbites would be extremely upset if this was ever allowed. I'd even go as far as saying that sps posting reviews of merbites might force some of them into permanent retirement from not only the boards, but also from the hobby. People simply dislike to read negative things written about them, especially when it deals with looks, hygiene & performance. Just imagine reading this: "Boy, was he ugly!" Or, "he smelled like a guy that had just finished a shift working on a pig farm!" Or, "he fucked like a big fat black bear. Not good."
(Not wanting this thread to go off-topic much longer, i will refrain from making further posts unless it deals directly with the subject-matter)
