Apparently but ask Lara Foxx (porn star who get infected at her fist anal unprotected relation) if she agree with statistic. Of course the risk is minimal is optimal when there is some blood involved

1 exemple is nothing compared to statistic...

I shouldn't say that here but it's less risky to have baresex with a HIV-positive than driving your car after 2 glasses of bier...

Yes, but when you get a car crash you know immediately and its not contagious.
Statistics can be falsely comforting, because its an average. You don't know what is your risk at that time with that one infected person. Not too many people win the lottery, but if you have the winning ticket, your chances of winning are 100%.

It's like saying "when you are HIV-positive, you have 100% chance of being infected by AIDS"... ;)

1) You don't have to agree with me if you disagree. And if you do....oh well, i appreciate the support.

2) I do happen to have over 8000 posts. Thank you for pointing this out, i wasn't aware of the number. Actually, i'd be closer to 10000 if i didn't delete nearly all my posts at one time when i took a year off from the hobby. But what can i say? I've been here since day 1 and i happen to be a very helpful, knowledgeable & opinionated person (and a great guy to boot! lol). And indeed, i've enjoyed helping people that do need my assistance if they are courteous & respectful.

3) Not sure what i have planned for my 10000th post. Who knows, it may be my very last one ever. But it likely won't be a review.

I've written anywhere between 60-75 reviews over the past 12 years or so and i ran out of ideas, originality, got bored & tired of sounding like an arrogant dick (to some) while constantly boasting about my sexual exploits (which in reality are what reviews are all about), while not really getting anything in return for my efforts (while many agencies/indys profited off my reviews).

Indeed, like many people who feel the need to write about their sexual exploits after seeing an escort, i too used to be an attention whore. But one day i woke up & realized that this whole 'review' thing was somewhat ridiculous, and if i were in the sp's shoes, i probably would hate the fact people would run to their computers & post everything that happened during our intimate moments together. These days, i prefer keeping my private life (and whatever happens in the bedroom) to myself. Of course, this hasn't stopped me (on the odd time) from exchanging some info with people i consider good friends or hobbyists i respect.

I'm not against people writing reviews if they want to. It's their business. If it makes them feel better about themselves, great. If their reviews are helpful to other hobbyists, even better & that's really the bloodline of this board. I myself enjoy reading a well-written review every once in a while. Don't get me wrong, i do understand the personal motivation in writing reviews. As they say....been there, done that. But there comes a time when you have to move on to other things when doing something you once enjoyed doing (like writing reviews) wasn't fun anymore.

Quite ironic to hear the dean of a review board saying he thinks that "this whole review thing is somewhat ridiculous".

I must respectfully disagree, Doc. Well, to some extent. Yes, there are attention whores and guys who like to build themselves up with how many big Os he give the girl. But there are other reasons for reviewing. As you no doubt are aware, my reviews stop at the door to the bedroom. I write about who the girl is, what it's like to be with her, her personality, her charm, etc. I see my reviews as a tip. I don't tip monetarily, but if a girl does her job well and warrants it, I do what I can to boost her business...and to share with the membership.

I agree it is ironic. But let me use an example:

When i was 27 years old, i had sex with a girl named Pauline. After leaving our motel room & dropping her off at her folks, i headed home. Imagine if i would have headed to my computer & decided to write about it:

"Last night, i went to the disco & noticed a tall brunette staring at me on the dance floor. I later approached her & asked her if I could buy her a drink. We went dancing together & eventually wound up going to a motel. The sex was unbelievable. After we undressed one another, we french-kissed like two horny teenagers and she then decided to go down & sucked my cock dry. I later returned the favor & licked her very wet (and urine-smelling) pussy, getting her to climax. She then begged me to fuck her mercifully and i first entered her in the missionary position, then we spooned, only to end in a furious, ass-slapping doggy. When i told her that i was about to cum, she told me she wanted me to cum in her mouth. I came, and came, and came!! OMG!!!

My numbers out of a scale of 10: 7-8-9.

The following day, people i knew who saw my review called me a prick & and asshole. Many wondered if i wasn't nuts or something. They wanted to force me to visit a shrink. I received anonymous death threats. Of course, Pauline was told by an acquaintance of ours that i had posted our sex escapade on a website. She was furious!!! She threatened me with a lawsuit & requested that i retract the 'review' and insisted on a public apology. Needless to say, i never saw Pauline again. I wonder why?

Of course, the event(s) described above are fictional. But maybe it'll help put some light on my prior statements. Imagine if sps would be allowed to post reviews of us. I guarantee you that the large majority of merbites would be extremely upset if this was ever allowed. I'd even go as far as saying that sps posting reviews of merbites might force some of them into permanent retirement from not only the boards, but also from the hobby. People simply dislike to read negative things written about them, especially when it deals with looks, hygiene & performance. Just imagine reading this: "Boy, was he ugly!" Or, "he smelled like a guy that had just finished a shift working on a pig farm!" Or, "he fucked like a big fat black bear. Not good."

(Not wanting this thread to go off-topic much longer, i will refrain from making further posts unless it deals directly with the subject-matter)

Your fictional story learn me something : the more SP you see, the less you can make the difference between SP and regular girls...
