This may be more for the SPs as they probably more routinely talk to people in different age groups but I'm sure it applies to some of the men too. What do you find are the biggest differences in the ways that different age groups talk to you as an individua? Of course everybody is different and individuals break the mold routinely, but generally speaking how would you characterize the differences? Are the differences tied to use of language? Cultural references? Perspectives n life/relationships? all of the above? other factors?

There is a reason I'm asking this but I don't want to skew any responses so I'll save that until later,.

I have a rather "young" mindset as I like to keep updated about trends of any sorts.
It can be either slangs, music, that allow me to find a connection with someone and create a bond.
Currently at work it's a tech company so predominantly younger population and it's always interesting to see the different codes that revolve.
Not only in term of age gap but culture gap as there are colleagues from around the world.

Luckily for me I lived in different countries and it gave me lot of exposure to different cultures and languages. It also allowed me to adapt to the local mold.

I would say that language is also a culture and vice versa. When you are able to make very specific references or even speak the language this is what allows you to enter the circle and be part of the community.
