Cowboy cops on a power trip.
Before I start my rant on this matter, just let me say that it is a tragety that a cop was shot. I do not critisize the people, but I do not agree with the tactics the cops use.
It is the kick them to the ground and step on their necks tactic that I do not agree with. This is why the criminals do not give up easily. No one want to be humiliated. Nine out of 10 times the criminal is captured without incident, it is times like this that is tragic. Hours after the incident, wouldn't it have been better off if the waited for the criminals to get in a car and surround them or tosurround the house and wait them out?

But I don't think it's irrelevant to the case and article. It's not [description of shooter] who shoot cops, it's drug dealers and criminals who shoot cops.

Cops take them down where it's the safest for everybody. In the street, with peoples around, with bullets flying all over is a better place in your opinion? I hope you never become a cop and I'm never within a few blocks of you when you do a bust!
These piece of shit drug delaers desserve no pity. They destroy people's life with the shit they sell and they could't care less, as long as the money comes in. They feed on peoples despair and grow on it. Is this peoples you think should be treated with respect and care so they don't get hurt emotionally and physically?
Maybe cops should wait till they are on the street and tap them on the shoulder and say "Could you put these shiny bracelet on please? I need to take you to a nice warm place,all expenses paid..." I don't think so...
