It was pent up after 5 years and probably felt like a glorious COF on DJT for Mitch.

There are most definitely more than a handful of the 43 who voted for acquittal who probably would like to do the same to Trumpy

Capitol rioter who bragged he'd never get caught gets caught.

Wasn't wearing a mask, so how did he think he would get a pass. One whistleblower your screwed.
Very brilliant this rioter, like his crazy orange clown for losing his elections.

11 people turned him in... that's a good thing.

Imagine giving birth to a kid, teaching them for 18 years, just for them to be this stupid.

Give him 20 years just for thinking he wouldn't get caught.

According to a reporter that was pulled in as a witness, Capitol Police are apparently investigating several Republican lawmakers that they believe may have gotten a little too handsy with police officers during the attack on January 6th.
Not much is known about this investigation, but the timing of it does appear to be a little interesting, as the impeachment just finished and now the police get to see that Republicans really aren't on their side.

That's the republican way, grift ,lie ,cheat, steal, blame the other guy.

Not only did republicans not protect them, it was republicans who killed them.

FBI director Christopher Wray testified on Tuesday to a U.S. Senate committee that the bureau was considering the attack on the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 as an act of "domestic terrorism" and said the agency was making every effort to investigate those involved. He praised members of the public, who had provided the FBI with more than 270,000 tips via digital media. He also said there has been more than 270 arrests to date.

The director was also questioned by senators on suggestions of "fake Trump protesters" being the instigators of the violence on Capitol Hill that day. Wray pushed back against those assertions, saying there was no evidence of that. He also said the riots involved "militia violent extremists" as well as some considered to be "racially motivated violent extremists" who advocate for white supremacy.

This guy is guilty of a serious failure - why is he and others who are questioning him skirting around his inexcusable conduct. He should be dismissed on the spot! Instead the senators are thanking him! Unbelievable! Such a failure in any other country would warrant an immediate dismissal. Wake up America!!! He is leading you astray and everyone is buying it!

Dismiss this guy right away!

There were plenty of failures by multiple parties....plenty of blame on several agencies. Why single out a guy who did the best he could under extremely difficult circumstances where Donald did everything to block any attempts to protect the capitol and stifle the march.

And that’s why he was found guilty by the senate during his impeachment. Oh wait.

57 found it guilty, 43 not guilty because they shit and their pants.
Rightly they thought of their jobs as Senators instead of their oath to the constitution.
Every sane persons know that.
That's your opinion, yes. Not what actually happened.

The cost of extra security at the Capitole according to the Washington Post is 2 millions $ per day.
The Bill should be sent to Trump or THE GOP since it is Trump's party now.
Which has absolutely nothing to do what you have quoted me for. Please pay attention.

Rep. Eric Swalwell, who previously served as an impeachment manager, has filed a lawsuit against former President Trump, Rudy Giuliani, Donald Trump Jr. and Rep. Mo Brooks for their role in inciting the January 6 Capitol riot.

Another step.
