This weekend, my partner and I decided that we were interested in hiring someone for a few hours for some fun for my birthday weekend. He and I are both sex workers and understand the importance of scheduling ahead of time. 3 different cancellations. I contacted 2 agencies that I had worked for in the past and both agencies told me that as someone who they know personally that it wasn’t worth it because I wouldn’t get the standard of service I was expecting. A few were out of town and then there were ladies who straight up told me they only come to chill. No service provided. Completely mind blown. I wasn’t expecting any lesbian action. My thinking is.. Christmas is nearing.. slow season is upon us, in the next 3 weeks or so, why are these ladies slacking. That’s the sex worker in me. The other part is, I usually get what I want and this thoroughly has me flustered because I have no control over other peoples flakiness. Also, some of the ladies I contacted have children as I’m well aware because we know each other on a personal level.. I was even understanding about their child care situation and was willing to work around their schedule. So there’s no excuse for the flakiness.

The unusual behavior from one agency I've been communicating with (and have used a lot in the past) makes me wonder if my upcoming Montreal trip in the near future is going to be a dud if I rely on the agencies.

Two things I've never experienced with this agency happened. Asked for a pic of an SP I wanted to see. Was denied because she was fully booked. I replied with it's okay to send it in case I want to see her in the future. Was still denied. On another day, I asked for a picture of another lady. Was told she has her own specific clients that are approved for pics. What's the point of an agency lady limiting her options to specific people? Are the agencies doing that well that they are turning down business?

Sounds about right. Since COVID, service declines while prices go up. It's gotten so bad that I stopped visiting Montreal.

There are some agencies I have used for a long time and the bookers have been pretty honest about that too... I asked who they would recommend and they very subtly said the same thing. When I messaged them about a bad experience I had, they seemed like they were expecting it and pretty much said that's how it is these days.

I haven't written a review in a long time due to the many mediocre sessions I've had that it wasn't worth talking about.

The VERY popular SPs these days who are fully booked 1 hour after they show up on the schedule? It's sad. They are so popular even though compared to the 2019 market... they offer very average service... which is considered A+ these days...

Well reading from what you guys are saying about cancellations, no-shows and the lack of new girls. Looking at the rosters. Seeing how many long well known agencies closed and never reopened.

And now Sex Workers complaining about their own industry. I will always keep up to date on whatever I am doing or involved with. This is just not the hobby. Goes with anything that made an impact on my life.

I maybe out of this now but never know I can one day return.

I have to say ive been mostly pleased with my recent trips, only 1 girl was sub-standard, however the picking have become quite slim for an outcall only guy since euphoria and xo have went mostly for incall only, that only leaves vog/luxury/ sensation as viable options

Personally i had one of my best year in a while this year. No meeting was under a 8/10 experience if i would rate them numerically. But i will admit i mostly sticked with well reviewed providers and plan As.

There has indeed been a shift in the industry this i can't deny, and not all of it is positive in my eyes. For instance a few years ago the screening was minimal when existing at all (a reference) and deposit was a rarity. Now you see more and more indies going that route. Prices on the indy scene has also risen in % greatly exceeding the inflation. As someone mentioned and wich i also did in the past the whole shift to incall only for some agencies as well. Funny enough i may have to go the incall route anyway in the futur when i loose acces to the current place i use for my outcalls as the hotel price is been off the roof, but having the choice in the past was the best thing.

I understand the agencies you contacted knew you Natalia so you may have had a special "warning" but i find it interesting agencies would purposely not recommand their own ladies or expect sub par bookings (by another guy's post). I don't know wich agencies you contacted but i find it odd that off the average of 12-15 ladies a day on the biggest agencies they could'nt find one to suit you. You did mention your partner is black, so i understand it may had been an issue for some providers (the no black men line we also see often with indies) but they couldn't find 2-3 potential candidates?

When it comes to the indies is it because they knew you and would find it awkward to book you as client? From what you say they were ok to come chill so definately not a matter of not having time.

In any case i will say happy birthday to you and i hope you do find an option eventually if not on the birthday weekend.

I don’t think it would have been awkward as there are a few who I had done duos with in the past and a few of them who we had actual threesomes with in our personal lives. I was honestly just trying to have some fun, blow a few dollars and at the same time help someone else out before the holidays. ‍♀️ we ended up picking up a barmaid at a bar we went to because no one took us seriously when trying to book. I’m not sure that I’ll actually try booking again because it was frustrating.

Sorry to hear about your bad experience! IMO, I agree that the quality of the hobbying scene in Mtl has gone down recently and the recent behaviour of some agencies seems puzzling (based on comments from others and from what I’ve observed).

I’m a local and I tend to repeat with 4-5 ladies, so I haven’t been affected too much since I have good chemistry and get good service from these ladies.

BUT, when I TOFTT, all bets are off! I had one good experience for the past 4-5 times that I saw a new lady, the rest were below average experiences. It’s unacceptable!! I have good hygiene and treat the ladies with respect. But then I check the reviews for these girls, and others have had bad experiences as well. And then I noticed that some of these ladies are no longer on the roster 2-3 months later.

When I first started hobbying, there was a good chance that I’d have a decent experience when TOFTTing (despite occasional sub-par encounter), but not anymore.

I prefer quality over quantity, so for me it doesn’t matter if the agency has 50 ladies on the roster or 20 ladies, I repeat with the same 4 or 5!

Got to Montreal this week and it's already a disappointment and kind of regret it.

I originally cancelled my plans but was close enough that I just drove up.

So far I've had 4 SPs booked.

1 I've seen in the past about 8 times. Her service has declined a lot, so perhaps won't be a regular anymore.

And 3 cancellations.

I have 2 more SPs booked for the next 2 days. Just saw Arielle and of course, still an A+ experience, so she's saved my trip so far.

The other 2 are also regulars and I hope they maintained their service levels.

There's 2 other SP on my TDL but they were already fully booked even though I messaged 1 hour after the schedule was posted.

Very subpar trip so far. I expect more cancellations for the rest of the week

My take on this, seems to be a post-covid effect. It all comes down to supply and demand. Since the reopening this year, there is just too much demand. Kind of related but not, when stripclubs opened this year, the clubs were packed. So many customers but the amount of available strippers did not increase. They forcibly jacked up their prices and demanding extra money for certain things. They still made lots of cash and got away with it. Why? Due to too much demand. Excessive immigration caused the population to increase rapidly, two years of lockdowns and getting pandemic benefits, many people got lots of cash saved up. And it was this way till labor day. Before it was a sellers market, now things have slowly switched to a buyers market. Now it is fun, mileage is becoming available. Same for escorts especially agencies. When peoples bank accounts will be drained and the letting out of steam after two years of covid mandates, things will stabilize and service will go back up.

I hate to disagree with you but you are not going to see a decline in pricing, except maybe a few specials during holiday times when things are really slow for SP as most people are seeing family and friends and have spent on gifts for them.
There is also a labour shortage which makes getting decent civi jobs easy plus many have discovered they can make ends meet with other type of sex work like OF where they don’t have to meet with a client. Then there are the ones that believe they are not prostitutes if they rebrand themselves as sugar babies.
Perhaps if we enter into a recession which is very likely then it may turn around a bit for the ones that will still be able to afford it.
